The Forbidden Truth

The Forbidden Truth

“Your necklace. May I see it?” Seolurrie showed them her necklace which is hidden inside her clothes. She didn’t take it off. She felt that something bad will happen if she took it off. “Hmm. It looks like an ordinary necklace for me. Are you sure what you saw was real?” “I don’t have time to be delusional. I know that what happened was real. The truth, just like how true that I came out of a gate.” “Not everything that you said can be true. There are no evidence about everything else except the fact that you came out of a gate. And a few more days you will get your hunter license. You know what will happen, right?”

I really liked this book. Too bad it ends after 36 chapters and hasn't been added to in a couple of weeks. If y'all want people to pay to read your books, at least write something. This is the second book, this has happened with. I think I'm done with good novel.

Great story!! refreshing to read something different then other books on good novel. loved the complexity of the worlds and characters. would have been nice to have it a bit longer, and more lucas scenes, but still greatly enjoyed it. looking forward to the next book!

She asked "Yes, i got in during the fall, after i came to WSU" "You school in WSU?" Came her question "Yes, I major in English studies" I answered "Great course, really" she complimented, she didn't seem bad at all and i actually forgot what happened for someone second "Urmm, i heard you base in Seattle" I asked just for confirmation

In the Wake of Truth

In the Wake of Truth

I told her about Connecticut, the colonial house with white trim and black shutters, the neatly trimmed hedges, and the two side gates no one noticed unless they were looking. I told her about the nights he stayed there, the security’s lazy hours, and the black Ford Escalade he used to distribute drugs and transport ammunition, always parked exactly thirty-four feet from the front porch. I gave her details only an insider could know about. She didn’t interrupt while I spoke, not even for once. Only wrote, occasionally glancing at me as if testing the truth behind my very words. When I finished, she closed the folder. “We’ll verify.” “But let’s be clear about something,” she said. “You’re con

Hidden Truths

Hidden Truths

He insisted I crouch by the door to listen to their voices. "On October 6th was Xavier's birthday. I summoned the courage to tell him the truth, but he said he would only listen if I finished all the cream on the cake on the table. He knew I was allergic to cream and couldn't eat any." ... The notebook contained records of events from nearly four years. With every page I read, my body temperature dropped, and countless images flashed through my mind, like someone stabbing me with a knife, causing excruciating pain. It was him, the man I dreamed about, Xavier Quinn.

True or Fake, Love or Hatred

True or Fake, Love or Hatred

Micah abruptly ended the call as if he was the one being rejected. Desperation flooded his eyes as he said, "Adeline, we're the most pitiful people in this world. We fell from the top of the world to rock bottom. "Look at us. You’re wearing cheap rags from the dollar store, and I’ve got no one left in this world except for my most loyal friend here. I was once so glorious, but now I don’t even have a hundred dollars to my name."

From Truth To Lies

From Truth To Lies

Cassandra #1 and The Real Cassandra stared each other down, an unspoken battle happening between them. Then, finally, The Real Cassandra smirked, “Fine. I will tell you the truth.” She stepped closer, “It's actually a long story but basically, it all started with a member of the clan; our mother and her two younger brothers. My mother was a beauty from the clan and yeah, in case you were thinking about it, my mother married her older cousin.” I scrunched up my nose in disgust, “So, that's crazy as hell.”

He Believed Her Lies; Now He'll Never Hear My Truth

Vivian's face turned purple; she scratched his hand with both her hands, unable to break free. "You used my sympathy, gained my trust through deception, and hurt the person I cared about most." Damian's words were cold, his murderous intention thick. "Did you really think you could keep on toying with the Silvermoon Pack?" Vivian's tears and mucus mixed as she struggled and screeched in agony. "Damian, please let me go, I was wrong! I'll never do it again! Please, just give me another chance! I swear I won't lie again!"
