Basil X Sunny Novels & Stories

“You fight, you survive and you find a way to meet those conditions, even if it means defying your alpha.” She returned to the table and began wrapping the items. “These herbs will strengthen the mate bond, make the separation less painful. The crystals are protective wards, make sure to keep them close. And this…” She held up the vial of silver liquid. “….is for emergencies only.” “What is it?”

When she points out things like that, I get that she has a point; besides, if Enya had a wolf, it'd appear a while after her system came clean of the wolfsbane. "Allergic to basil?" I add the next question more to make sure my assumption wasn't wrong. She chuckles and sets her plate aside. "My fault there, probably. I'm allergic to that plant. I swear basil grows out of the Devil's butt cheeks, right next to the damn lettuce. I hate lettuce with passion."

The new girl, Sunny. ------------------------- The production and management teams had chosen Cruz Engineering University as their partner school for the series. CEU is the most popular school for engineering students in the city. Owned and operated by a civil engineer himself, Mr. Alejandro Cruz Barcenilla, PhD. But the school isn't what it is said to be. Popular and recommended for those dreaming to build bridges, but on the recent years, due to strict requirements, they went on low enrollment. That was when the board decided to allow the school to be the host venue for the series- for marketing.

I remarked, rubbing my arms for warmth by the hearth. Lilac chuckled. “I do grow my own herbs. And my last birthday gift was a solar crank radio, so… you’re not wrong.” She pulled out two cans—Simple Truth Organic Tomato Basil for me and Lentil Vegetable for herself. “Soup?” “I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for soup,” I admitted. She prepared them with practiced ease, pouring the contents into camping pots over the fire. We sat cross-legged, steam spiraling between us as we enjoyed our soups. The tomato basil was surprisingly hearty, better than many pricey café soups in New York.

Saying that Basil quickly left the mansion. As soon as Basil left, Layla changed her attitude once more, she put her hands on her hips and started raising her voice. "Now that you understand, as long as I say I like it, even if it's Basil's hobby, he'll go along with me." None of the maids said anything, and she was further encroached on by the water: "What are you waiting for, don't get rid of those ugly violas. Also, Mrs. Fotune, can't you hear? Basil told me to plant a sunflower garden today. What are you still standing there for?"

Sunny said to Lowe. “A what?” He was confused. “A coffee, huhu, can’t you do that?” Sunny groaned as tears welled up. “Damn. Maybe you should drink milk instead?” “No! I want coffee,” Sunny said, glaring at him. “Okay, wait, I’ll get you coffee. Drink this water first,” he handing her a glass of water. Sunny drank it immediately. After finishing the water, she also drank a glass of Bacardi. Her eyes nearly closed as she waited for Lowe to return.

Grandma Rosie came bustling in moments later with an overflowing tray. It was stacked high with biscuits and mugs, and there was a huge patterned teapot in its centre. She wobbled beneath its weight, and Skye leapt up to steady her. “Thank you, dear,” she muttered, patting his arm as he took it from her. “It’s a herbal blend, of course – basil, black pepper, rosemary, dill – oh! And some salt, and a squirt of lime juice, too. All of which are potent protectors against dark forces, forces of evil.”

, Basil greeted me as soon as he spotted me riding down the stairs with my bag and laptop like some barbaric king on a quest, just that a sword and a braid on the head was missing. " Good morning dear. We leave now please", I headed straight for the door. " Wait, now?" " Yes Basil, right now". " Aren't you going to have breakfast or something?" " No, there's no time for that, I'm already late", I said, opening the door and getting hit by the sun rays which was kind of too hot that I had to wonder if the IVB rays missed their way to Africa and found themselves in South America - well, maybe it was because I was almost sweating from running too much.

I took the bag from him. "We haven't gotten the basil yet." Tank reminded me. "I know but there's none of it here. I would just have to suffice with some yarrow or frankincense back at home." I told him. "And the night blooming whatever?" He questioned. "Night blooming Nightshade, we are going to get that in the market." "Raphael, we are leaving behind a herb garden, you don't have to take my words to heart. Let's just grab it and leave." Tank sighed.

Ava The afternoon sun hung high in the sky as I made my way to the mansion’s communal bath house, eager to relax after the tense morning. Crescent Moon was known for their rich bath salts, made from the plants and herbs grown in their forests, and I was looking forward to trying it for myself. As I stepped inside, the steam and scent of herbal salts filled the air, a heady mixture of lavender, rosemary, and something earthy I couldn’t quite place—basil, maybe? Either way, it instantly relaxed my tired muscles.
