I think she benefited from poisoning her the first time that she’s still doing it to gain Kade’s favor—only administering the antidote when he’s around so she ‘proves’ herself. But now she’s done it too much and Ivy is having a really bad reaction. The antidote isn’t working anymore.”

~ Peter ~ I hugged her unconscious naked body to mine kissing her swollen lips which were purple now. Her eyes were puffy with her ruined mascara. Tears were dried on her rosy cheeks. She was a beautiful mess. I proudly looked at the marks I made on her. "I will kill anyone who try to take you away from me"_______________ ~ IVY~ I slowly opened my eyes not knowing where I was. Then it hit me. I was aching in places I have never felt pains before.

The bonfire burned higher as the night wore on. Then, without warning, Ivy let out a sharp, agonized cry. "What's wrong?" Kael went pale and caught her against him. Ivy raised one trembling finger toward me. "It was... it was Vivienne. She gave me a drink earlier... it had ice-bee venom in it. Vivienne, I understand you're jealous because Kael loves me, but why would you do this to my face—"

“But you’re lucky I’m your best friend because if anyone else heard about you locking lips with Trevor—” “Shhh!” Ivy hissed, slapping her hand over Stephanie’s mouth. “Keep your voice down!” Stephanie laughed, pushing her hand away. “Relax. Your secret’s safe with me. For now.” Ivy rolled her eyes. “You’re impossible.” Stephanie’s grin softened as she tilted her head, studying Ivy’s face. “So, how do you feel about it? The kiss, I mean.” Ivy sighed, leaning back against the lockers. “Confused. It wasn’t supposed to happen, Steph. I didn’t even know I wanted it to until…” She trailed off, shaking her head. “And now I can’t stop thinking about it.”

Later at night, Piper ordered for pizza and Ivy went out to the nearest store, so she could get chilled canned drinks for them. After getting the drinks, she walked out of the store and inhaled the sweet breeze that encompassed her. Some months back, she had felt like everything was over but as she looked back, she discovered everything had truly been over, it had really been the end because what was in front of her was a new beginning, the lovely, new beginning she and Piper were living in. As Ivy walked in the dark alley with just one streetlight that gave enough shadows, she heard footsteps and looked back.

Chapter 18 Alex placed Ivy on her bed and handed her a towel to dry off the excess water. She was already shivering at this point. “I told you it was cold,” Ivy said, covering her body with the towel. Alex took her hands and rubbed them with his to create heat. “You should change.” Ivy nodded. “Ivy.” “Hm? Will there be any space for you to love me after what—” Ivy waited for him to finish. “Uhn?”

ON THE Way to class, Stephanie's phone beeps and she brings it out of the pocket of her jeans to check it. Just then, she bumps into someone but luckily for her, her phone doesn't leave her grip. She looks up to see the person she bumped into, only to find a very furious-looking Ivy glaring at her. "You bitch! Are you blind or something?" Ivy yells. Poison Ivy. "I'm so...." "Shut that trap you call a mouth," Ivy yells again.

Exhaling sharply, I let her go, and she stumbles back as her eyes dart between me, my men, and the door behind her. Rolling my shoulders back, I walk around my desk and sink into my chair. “Take her to the wine cellar, it seems poison Ivy here is a sucker for pain.” I give the order as I pick up my tumbler glass filled two fingers high of whiskey, the amber liquid burns my throat as I toss it back in a single gulp. Lorenzo and Luca both grab Ivy by the upper arm, and they begin to drag her out. Ivy doesn’t put up much of a fight, her hazel eyes bore into mine as she mouths the words, “You fucking arse hole,” as the door slams in her face.
