Batton stared at her for a moment then sighed and walked back to stand in front of her, reaching through the cage and grabbing her chin so she had no choice but to look up at him. “Bide your time, little demon…behave…be whatever his Majesty wants you to be…just wait.” Kat’s brows furrowed and her eyes narrowed. “Wait for what?” Batton leaned down and pulled her face up to the bars so their faces were only millimetres apart.
