The beta only glared at him but did not bother to answer the question. He addressed the warriors and told them the battle plan. He was doing everything he could at the last minute and with what he had. Soon, everyone was in position. In the packhouse, there were only the beta and gamma left. The rest of the people were already in position. It was nightfall and time for the bloodsuckers to come out and play.

Still, she made herself stand up, her legs wobbly beneath her. The scene of the battlefield was dismal. "This place is a dump," he said as he looked around, he wasn't wrong exactly though. Where the battle was taking place used to be the city's capital, people used to come here to see the giant cherry blossom tree but now it's nothing more than a lifeless tree. The buildings have been reduced to rubble, the sky is always gray, and you could always hear someone's cry for help.
