Nora's POV “Move. Stay away from him.” Mira said as she hit my thigh and scrambled back to my side, like she could see I was stiff. She hit me lightly again to wake me from the stiffness. Hycinth Leander's eyes blazed as he walked to stand right in front of me. I didn't care. I wasn't going to be intimidated. Hands on my hips, I hissed, "How many times are we going to have to go through this? I've already told you nothing happened between us. I thought you believed me!" Leander ignored my question. Suddenly, his eyes unfocused, his stare utterly blank. My mouth went slack, confused by his abrupt change. It was like he was staring at me but through me at the same time. What the hell was he doing?

Third Person's POV Zander's jaw tightened, a vein pulsing at his temple. The heir to the Starfalls was many things, but a "harmless little pup" wasn't one of them. He knew exactly what Doran was doing, but he wasn't about to call him out in front of Elena. He just shot the younger Alpha a freezing look that made his point crystal clear: Knock it off. Doran felt the weight of that gaze, and his brow twitched.

I must have been thirteen and still figuring out my feels for Landon. I turn back around, as I hear the click of the door. Landon stared at me, eyes no longer that warm brown colour I love, but cold and coal black. I have never seen him like this, but I have heard that Alpha's can get angry.
