Price of Survival "Is this over?" The voice of Flora was hoarse, just a whisper over. Adrian didn't answer immediately. His gaze swept across the battlefield-if one could still call it that. The fires had burned out, leaving only charred remains of buildings that once stood proud. The scent of blood, metal, and something acrid, something wrong, hung thick in the air. Bodies, too many to count, lay motionless, some half-buried under rubble, others sprawled where they had fallen.

As the bloom went still, it released one final resonance: “Not everything must grow. Some things exist to be remembered.” And with that, the ground covered it. No one tried to stop it. They left without ceremony. They understood. Months later, a field opened in the region once known as the Splitfold a scarred place where the final battle with Seris had left the bloomfields frayed. But now, without coaxing, new growth emerged untouched by Pact runes, Hollow silence, or Voice shaped memory. Children wandered it first. Then song binders. Then those who had once been warriors.

Blaze then took David to an unknown space. As soon as he entered, David smelled the strong smell of blood. It was so strong that it was pungent. The dozen or so Origin Realm Almighties also followed. Along the way, everyone remained silent, and no one made a sound. The sky and earth were red in this strange space. Even the flowing liquid was red. David suspected that it was not water but the blood of some creature. At this time, Blaze spoke, “David, this is the extraterritorial battlefield.”

I grab onto Dante and he helps me past the blocks of ice until we cross the other side of the gate.

Blaze agreed and nodded at Zach who should do a presentation about the rogues that they will have to know their weakness. "I, Zachary Jacobs, the beta will present you the weaknesses of our enemy." Zach said in a stern voice, Blaze choose his best friend to be his beta because he has the qualities to be one even though his cousin wanted so badly to be a beta he decided to be the Zeta which is the generals of their army.

"It's no surprise that Mr. Floyd and his girlfriend are a perfect match. I heard they're childhood sweethearts. "Back then, I was wondering who could ever melt his heart. He's so stoic! Now, I know better. It could only be his first love!" Suddenly, I found it hard to smile. I checked my phone and realized that Vernon had blocked me on his main and alternate Instagram account. Vernon's main account was for personal use. After he left the apartment last night, he blocked me on Instagram right away.
