he warned. Her eyes widened at the sound of that, staring back at him with nothing but renewed horror. What was that even supposed to mean? Was that his attempt to make her feel better about this, to help her relax? Well it failed miserably, because now she was more scared than ever. She was literally pissing her panties. How was she supposed to do that? How was she to avoid such a thing, when she hadn't the faintest clue about what he was like, what ticked him and what didn't. She had read about gods and mythology -like any other human being who had nothing better to do with their spare time- but she evidently hadn't thought that she would ever get to meet one, IN THE FLESH! Or be the soulm

I murmured to myself, my mind starting to race as I walked over to a table, setting the old book down as I began to leaf through its long index, some pages almost falling out as I touched them “Celebrations after the birth of cubs… Offerings to the Goddess… Feast after the harvest…” “These things seem to have been written centuries ago.” Atticus wrinkled his nose, also reading over my shoulder “Celebrations after children's first transformation? Where did the person who wrote this live? In a village with ten wolves? Does he have any idea how many children transform for the first time every day…?” “Magic rituals.” I interrupted him when I read the title of that chapter, quickly starting to lo

WARNING‼️ THIS STORY IS A PARANORMAL STORY 🔞 Chapter 1 My skin felt sticky from sweat as I peeled off my damp shirt and stepped closer to the tall antique mirror I had dragged out of the closet earlier. I wiped sweat from my neck and stared at my reflection, for a second everything matched. Then my reflection smiled a heartbeat after I did. My pulse jumped. I blinked hard and shook my head I was just tired that was all. I turned away to grab a towel but something made me glance back. My reflection stared at me, eyes darker, lips parted.

In 1983 a Mrs Carson of New York was laid out in our coffin, presumed dead of hear disease. As mourners watched, she suddenly sat up, alive as you or I. Unfortunately her daughter dropped dead of fright on the spot. I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon. Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. To make it easier to understand and more transparent, this chapter will be like a summary for this and the following volumes. Vol.2: medium stories: The antics of Bia's crew ( ABC) Bia comments on a crew of children of criminals, in an invisible ship. In this world full of magic, demonic beasts and restrictions, they live on the run, abandoned by their parents. Not being accepted anywhere in the world they have to survive on small illegal jobs and from time to time to plunder.

“I think one might have wanted to, but he got scared off by the second. It was the second one that looked at me funny. It was like it was protecting me?” Ash tilted his head. “Go on.” I shrugged. “I don’t know. You hear things, right? I just wanted to know if you knew anything.” Ash swallowed. “Well, there have been stories recently of strange beasts wandering in the night. I always assumed it was the football team messing around.” It was so odd that both Ash and Soren had mentioned stories of strange beasts. I hadn’t heard anything, not even through the rumor mill at the restaurant. “And the fog,” I said softly. “It just all seems so strange.”

He had pinned me against the cold stone of the relic chamber, his arm coiled around my head, the other hand bruising my hip. His breath was ragged, his golden eyes heavy with the darkness of the curse that threatened to consume him. “You want to hate me,” he growled, his fangs scraping against my throat. “Your scent tells me otherwise, even as your eyes promise murder.” I choked on a breath, my body betraying me. “I will never be your Queen,” I snapped, even as my body arched towards him. He laughed softly, pressing his hips into mine, so I could feel the rigid length of him. “I don’t want a Queen, little Null. I want to burn alive in you before the world ends. And you, you’re going

They hurried toward the windows and shut them one after another, blocking out every trace of sunlight before quickly scrambling out of the room. They knew better than to leave the windows open around me. I was a beast condemned to live in darkness. A curse placed upon me by a powerful witch had taken away my ability to withstand sunlight. It was not merely an inconvenience. It had stripped me of the freedom to rule my own kingdom as I once had. A hundred years ago, my own Beta, Scott, betrayed me. He divided my kingdom into two factions and took half of it for himself. But betrayal was only the beginning of what he did to me, he killed my mate.

I stammer a whisper with labored exertions that presumably didn't make it to his ears. The way he is ogling me? It's like what I have read in novels about mates coincidentally meeting for the first time. I am coerced to think that he is a wolf who just accidentally ran into his mate. Or perhaps, he just found his long-lost mate. But, I can't be bound to such horror in the name of my mate. I love the paranormal tales, but I would hate the reality of them if this was it. "Your husband-to-be. Haven't your parents told you yet?"
