"Do you agree with my proposition?" She was stumbled where she was. She blinked her eyes twice again and glance at him, trying to see if he's not joking. She could only see his expression cold and become distant. Beatrice made a decision out of desperation and despair as she lay pinned beneath Lucas, her mind racing with a storm of contradictory feelings. She nodded reluctantly, her hands shaking and her heart heaving as she spoke in the cave's darkness, her voice little more than a gasping mumble. "Fine, Lucas," she conceded, her words laced with a mixture of fear and resignation. "But you have to fulfill your words."
