“She’ll thank me.” The words were almost identical to what Hannah recorded. Hearing them out loud, face to face, made my skin crawl. He wasn’t bluffing. He was deluded enough to think this whole game ended with her running back into his arms. And maybe that was why her plan could work—he was blind enough to trap himself. But blind men are dangerous. Xevia's POV I gasped in disbelief. I had no idea that this blind man had such magnificent eyes. Breathtaking and profound. They were like the stars in the sky or a crystal clear lake. His eyesight is deep, pure blue with little specks of purple. It was as if they contained all the secrets of the universe.
