He came to the human world in search of her, but he ends up messing things up for himself and his mate.

Naomi Venice was a daughter of one of Florence's noble family, Venice. As someone who loves books, she would often go to libraries. While strolling, she passed by an alleyway where she saw a library. She went there with her personal maid, Lillian, to browse for some books when something strange happened. It was gone in an instant and they got home completely fine. They finally met and he asked him all the questions that have been bothering his mind, but his father's explanation made him hate himself for hating him without hearing his side of the story and he also despised his mother for lying to him. Jennie is an industrious young lady from a poor family. She has to do four to five jobs a day to support her family. Her father being a man who believes in early marriage forced Jennie to find a husband at the of eighteen, she remembered the kind of life she wants for her younger one's and what her senior sister was going through in her husband house. She disobeyed her parent for the first time and it resulted in Jennie leaving the house.

He and his brother, Solomon, are attacked later by a vampire hunter, Silas Hermott. He eventually defeats Silas and falls for Hope. Hope becomes pregnant with a baby which is tagged "impossible". They get attacked by many enemies from the past until Suzana, the witch who turned them into vampires returns and requests for their child. Desmond dies trying to save his family.

The novel is mainly about the forgotten British poet/writer named C. J Richards who lived in Burma/Myanmar in colonial times and he believed himself as a Burmophile. He served as I.C.S (Indian Civil Servant) and when he retired from I.C.S service, he was a D.C (District Commissioner) and he left for England a year before Burma gained its independence in 1948. He came to Burma in 1920 to work in civil service after passing the hardest I.C.S examination. He wrote several books on Burma and contributed many monthly articles to Guardian Magazine published in Burma from 1953 to 1974 or 1975. Though he wrote several books which had much literary merit to both communities, Britain and Burma (Myanmar), people failed to recognize him. The story has two parts: one part is set in the contemporary Yangon (then called Rangoon) in 2016 context and a young literary enthusiast named “Lin” found out unexpectedly the forgotten writer’s poetry book and there is surely a good deal of time gap that led him into a quest to know more about the author’s life. The setting is quite different comparing to colonial Burma and independence Myanmar (Burma), early twentieth century and 2016 which is a transitional period in Myanmar. The writer’s life is fictionalized in the novel and most of the facts are taken from his personal stories and other reference books. It is a kind of historical novel with a twist and it has comparatively constructed the two different periods in Myanmar history to convince readers, locally and abroad more about history, authorship, humanity, colonialism, and transitional development in Myanmar today.

They finally get to meet the orchestrator of the attack, it was head of the vampires, king Azalea. Handsome but cruel, he hated wolves with every fiber in his body. As if fate was still not done with them yet, The twins mate turned out to be the king of vampires who killed their parents. How does it play out from here? The twins hated their vampire mate for what he did to their pack and parents and king Azalea hated the twins as well. Their future together already looked so bleak, could the moon goddess had made a mistake pairing them together? Follow this story to know how the twins learnt responsibility and duty the hard way and maybe, the hate can turn to love?
