I ignore the seduction, potent in his scent, focusing on my anger instead. “I do know them," he snaps. “I know that by the time I reached your friend, Beau, he was minutes away from death. He pauses, letting his words sink in. “I pulled his vampire off him and when I asked him what he wanted, he said he wanted to die.” My lips part in disbelief. I had no idea Beau hated vampires so much.

Hannah's POV: This woman was so unfriendly. I was quite unsatisfied about her attitude. But I had to say that I was drawn to her beautiful features. She was a very beautiful vampire. Her facial skin was really smooth and pale. Her features were so delicate with the long and blonde hair. All of these made her imposing. She was tall with a very hot body. His face was every woman's dream of their boyfriend. But no matter how handsome he is, to Celestine, he was still a vampire who is merciless when it comes to killing people. What's the use of your beauty or handsomeness if you don't just benefit from it, instead they will benefit from you because they will drink your blood.

All silent and completely invisible, the dark shadow watched from a close corner as the two unsuspecting and very different beings intently stared into each other's eyes, the mere sight making it feel so sick and utterly disgusted. That last nightmare he had planted within her mind should've been enough to scare her away or even make her move out, with a little bit of luck.
