Bedtime Stories For Kids Novels & Stories

She nodded earnestly, her little face serious as she scrubbed away. We then went to their room, where I helped them into their favorite pajamas. Zenith chose his dinosaur ones, while Zendaya picked her unicorn set. “Alright, into bed you go,” I said, tucking them under the covers. “How about a bedtime story?” Their faces lit up, and they nodded eagerly. I sat on the edge of the bed and began, “Once upon a time, in a vast and endless desert, there was a single seed. This seed was special because it had a dream—to become a beautiful flower.”

"I was starting to get bored, then the shorter woman, her name is Liz, and she is the older one. She started talking about a bedtime story they used to hear when they were children." That piqued my attention. I remembered they had said something like that when I sneaked up on their first conversation. "What was the story about?" He chewed on a pancake. "Something like a scary story to make children stay in bed. It was about a wolf sent by the moon goddess to take all bad pups away. The wolf was called the pupsnatcher."

Though she felt a little diffident, she pretended like nothing had happened when she thought about how Tianna wouldn't know better. Sigrid picked Tianna up, while Tianna continued to look at her curiously. She seemed to expect Sigrid to explain things to her. Sigrid rubbed her hair. "Little kids should go to bed early. It's so late already. Mommy will tell you a bedtime story. You should quickly go to sleep." Tianna blinked her big, black doe-eyes. She could roughly understand Sigrid's words, and she caught the keyword 'sleep'. She started to get excited for the bedtime story.

She said in suggestion. Herzl nods and gets up from the couch. Lisa follows him to his bedroom, where he gets to change into his pajamas. Then they sit down on his bed and Lisa begins to tuck him in. As she does, she asks. “Do you want me to tell you a bedtime story?” “Yes, please…" Herzl uttered, his eyes already beginning to droop as he lay comfortably on his bed. Lisa thinks for a moment before replying. “I'll tell you the story of the three little pigs.” She enounced. Herzl's eyes light up, and he gives a sleepy grin.

"Look, kid, I'm doing my job and I'm going to do it well for two reasons: first, because I like my job, and second, because I need it. So go to sleep!" "I'm not sleepy!" I complained, and he huffed. "Read a book! Better yet, lie down and I'll tell you a bedtime story so you can fall asleep. Have you heard the one about the girl who wears a red hood and meets a wolf in the forest? He pretends to be nice to trick her. Have you heard that one?" He was being sarcastic, and I wanted to hit him on the head! "You think you're so smart, don't you?! Have your parents ever treated you the way my parents are treating me?" It wasn't possible that he didn't realize the torture they were putting me throug

"You know the rules. Bedtime is bedtime. And besides, they probably want to have some grown-up talk." "What do grown-ups talk about?" I think for a second, then grin down at him. "Taxes," I say. "And their boring, boring jobs." Brandon wrinkles his nose in distaste. "Ugh." "Yeah, it's terrible," I say with a mock sigh, "but you have to do it, when you're a grown-up. Luckily for you, you're still a kid. So we don't have to talk about mortgages, and instead, I get to tell you a bedtime story. How's that sound?"

That I also used that spoon just moments ago? My face heated up, and I avoided his gaze. “I'm going to the bathroom.” I quickly tell him and then I run out of the room, so as to not make a fool of myself again.. ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ That night, before I left, Sophia and Franklin asked me to tell them a bedtime story. Even though I had experiences in putting Xavier and Clayton to sleep, I only knew of the story of the three little pigs and of course Cinderella but my boys weren't ever interested in that second one.

Nathaniel said. “Another one! Another one!” Sebastian requested. Alisa nodded with a smile. “You want another story, Ali?” Nathaniel asked his daughter. Alisa nodded. “I can’t hear you, baby.” Alisa swayed her body at first, then spoke. “Another one!” Nathaniel chuckled, pinching Alisa’s cheek lightly. “Good girl.” They hadn’t seen Serena yet, so they eagerly listened to another story. The last book Nathaniel read was 'Goodnight Moon.' It was the perfect story to get them ready for bed. As he read, he changed his tone and pointed to the items mentioned in the book. By the time he was done, the kids were satisfied.

Razor wouldn't even spar with Gia thus inflating her ego even more. Once all the children were bathed, we followed them downstairs for their bedtime snack & story. This had become a routine in our house. Every night, after baths, I made the kids a snack tray that consisted of meats, cheeses & fruits. Ray made them chamomile tea, & we told them a story while they had their snacks. It was my clever way of teaching them their history while they were still young. Usually Ray told the stories, since he had lived through the majority of them, but sometimes I told them, since werewolf & witch history literally lived in my DNA. Once the snack tray was ready, we gathered in the den infront of the fir

“Would you tell me a story? My friend Dustin says his mom and dad tell him stories every night, but no one will tell me a story.” My heart melted hearing his request, and I smiled. “Of course, Liam. And you are in luck. I know so many stories.” I picked him up in my arms. “Really?” he said excitedly, burying his head in my neck, making me sigh in content. “Yay.” I tucked him into his bed. I began weaving a tale about a courageous knight who embarked on an epic adventure to save a kingdom from a fearsome dragon. Liam’s eyelids grew heavy as he listened to the tale, and soon he was fast asleep.
