"What kind of story would you like?" Gemma slowly closed her eyes. "I'll listen to whatever story you tell." "How about 'The Tortoise and the Hare' or 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'?" "These are too childish," Gemma said with dissatisfaction, quietly opening her eyes.

Some hours later:- Trisha closed the bedtime story book. She looked at her son, who was sleeping soundly beside her. It was their daily routine. Rain likes to hear stories before sleeping. Before, he didn't have to do that because back in their apartment, Rain preferred Zee instead of Trisha to read the story for him. Just then, we heard little footsteps approaching and bringing our make out session to an abrupt end just in time to see Cassy standing by the door way with her stuff bunny in hand. I pushed back on my feet as I made to go to her while she stood there rubbing sleep away from her eyes. “I can’t sleep!” “Why can’t you sleep little pumpkin” Alex said, picking her up and into his arm. “mother forgot to tell us our bedtime story”. Alex fake a gasp as he stare back at me. "How about I tell you the story of the three pigs? After all, I need to practice telling stories to the baby." "Okay." I chuckled, looking up at him expectantly. "Once upon a time, three little pigs lived in a forest..." When Riley was done with the fairy tale, he started singing lullabies in an effort to get me to fall asleep. While his voice wasn't amazing, it was calming.

Heading upstairs, she made a detour to Lemon's room. It was already late, and the kids would usually be asleep by now. Mable gently pushed the door open and saw Nicki and Spike sitting on either side of the bed, telling Little Lemon a bedtime story and coaxing her to sleep. She told the big bad wolf that her house had many little lambs, and she was willing to take him there. The big bad wolf, greedy and arrogant, believed Little Red Riding Hood and followed her."

"Oh, I love bedtime stories!" Aiden responded with enthusiasm. Lily nearly coughed out blood at his son's answer because Aiden graduated relatively early from bedtime stories. I ended the call, and when I turned around, I was met with Daisy's inquisitive eyes. "Mommy, what did Nathan tell you?" she asked. "Nathan helped mommy out a lot." With the job situation resolved, my mood lifted. I closed my laptop and opened the storybook on the bedside table. "Sweetheart, what story would you like to hear tonight? 'The Ugly Duckling,' or 'Daughter of the Sea'?"

Eve softly kissed his forehead and whispered, "Goodnight, my little adventurer." Lucas smiled, "Sweet dreams, buddy." As they tiptoed out of the room, Lucas looked at Eve, "Our bedtime stories are getting more elaborate." Eve chuckled, "Blame it on your son. He's got a vivid imagination." The night was cold, and I feared they would catch a cold, but they began to cry out loud on the road. People began to stare, so I had gotten them the ice cream. When they got home, I prepared for them a nice warm shower, and dressed them, making them ready for bed. “I'm craving a bedtime story, Mommy.” Nadia said, as I tucked them in. “I'll tell you one tomorrow. I'm exhausted, okay? What do you think about two bedtime stories tomorrow?” I asked, as a bribe. “Oh yeah! I want Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty.”
