The headless body fell down and Cade quickly covered it with the robe Magnus was wearing, not wanting Layla to see it. A few distance away, a woman stood in the cover of the bushes. She had the physical appearance of a human but her eyes falsified it. Her eyes were a sickly red colour and when Riven ripped off Magnus' head, she grinned evilly, her forked tongue slithering out of her mouth. She was Beelzebub, the sin of gluttony;one of the seven deadly sins.

I smiled, but the dispersing park workers broke my joy and I knew the betas had arrived. I stepped out, not wanting trouble as the lead beta approached, and before I could blink, I was injected. The world tilted, and I let myself fall. Because, pretending to pass out was the last choice I had.

"The boss wants to see you " He yelled at me above the club's noise. I scoffed. "The boss" was one hell of an arrogant man. “I’m not interested.” I told him, waving him off. Jessica overheard the exchange and rolled her eyes at me . “Girl , we're not asking you to fall in love with him , just get laid and get that asshole off your system for a bit.” I hesitated and looked in the dude’s direction . His eyes were still on me ,though an interested smirk now tipped a corner of his lips.
