Before The Coffee Gets Cold Order Novels & Stories

There's a small bookshelf on the left side where the customer can read a novel while they enjoy a cup of coffee. "Hello, Ma'am, Sir, may I take your order?" The barista greeted them with a smile. "One French vanilla cappuccino please." Kathy said. "Mine Americano." Jeff joined. They wait for a couple of minutes for the order. As soon as they finally got an order, they chose the table in front of the television. The barista told them they could switch the channel if they wanted to, but they declined the offer since both of them wanted to watch "The Reality Show," which is about to start any minute. They silently drink their coffee as they patiently wait for the show to start.

Back in the office, I handed the coffee I had just bought to Julian. Julian paused his work and took the coffee. Smiling, he said, "Thank you." "You're welcome," I replied, leaning against the desk. He took a sip and then frowned. Noticing his expression, I quickly asked, "What's wrong?" He explained that he always got his coffee from the café downstairs and usually ordered this exact one. I even ensured the staff added milk and sugar per his preference. I had made sure to remind them of every detail to ensure it matched his usual order perfectly.

They giggle when he catches their eyes. “And may I take your orders, madames?” He offers them, putting on a charming smile. Halsey watches him charm those women and she’s a little annoyed by it. Why can’t this guy let her live in peace? “This coffee is too cold!” One of Halsey’s customers complains. “This coffee contains crushed ice just like you requested,” Halsey explains, taking out her notes. “Exactly three cubes-” “Make me another one!” the customer demands. “I told you that it must be three cubes. Crushed cubes!”

Then a warm smile appeared on his heart-shaped lips, like the belated bid of summer before the autumn came. Ever since he met his first love, all things around him just reminded of Adira. “Okay. One ice Americano, medium and a large roasted hazelnut ice latte,” Geoffrey murmured. He made the order on the computer and got the card from the lady’s hand. “That’s $5, ma’am.” He gave the card back and said. “We will serve the drinks later. Please take seat first.” The lady nodded her head and took a seat on the corner.

Just three minutes from the office. Just perfect. She gets down in front of it and goes inside. Lucky for her, there's only two women standing before her. She checks her wristwatch and notices that she's ten minutes early. By the time she gets her coffee, she will still make it there before nine am. It's her turn. "Give me a takeout cup of caramel macchiato." She doesn't know how to order so she just says it as it comes out. She gets her coffee without any hitch and checks her wristwatch.

Then I go down to get my morning dose of coffee. As I arrived at the cafe, I meet Shelia along with Cassie. They were waiting in line to get some coffee. I tap Cassie's shoulder and greet them, "What's up girls, good morning. Don't forget to prepare yourself for the meeting after this. By the way, what coffee are y'all getting? " "Of course boss, we're all ready and prepared. Oh, I'm getting a cold brew while Cassie is getting a cafe late. How about you boss?" Shelia answered me. "hmmm... I'm feeling out for something cold and bitter so probably an iced americano." I replied.

He was waiting for his order to get ready when an idea struk his mind. "Aunty". He whispered at the aunty. She turned to him keeping his secrecy. "Order five coffees for the table too. Don’t tell them okay"? He winked before taking his order back to his table. Max looked at the aunty when she served five ice coffee at their table.

His rough, warm fingers brushed against mine, and another jolt of that intoxicating electricity shot straight up my arm. "Drink," he ordered, his eyes tracking the shiver that wracked my body. "What is it?" I asked, my voice breathless. "Black coffee. Strong. I brewed it before my patrol." His eyes dropped to my trembling shoulders, and that muscle in his jaw ticked aggressively. "You are freezing. You need to raise your core temperature. Drink the coffee, feed the child, and put on dry clothes."

There were no pretences in the dark, no masks, no filters, just pure thoughts. “Can I have an Irish coffee, please?” I place my order, my hands rubbing against each other for warmth. “It has alcohol in it, in case you didn’t know.” The old man says, looking at me to confirm my order. My eyes widen, I thought it was just coffee. “Uh, I didn’t know that. I would have the pumpkin spiced latte then.” I reply. He nods his head, before heading towards the machines to prepare my order. I wait for him to come back with my drink.

"Dark roast beans for my drip coffee. The water temperature shouldn't exceed 70°C. Also, give me a cookie. The less sugary one!" "You…" Maisie was even more shocked now. "You can order coffee yourself?" "Yes! Of course, I can." "Then why did you—" Lily winked. "If I didn't do that, how could I share a table with you?"
