Julissa let out a quiet breath of relief. The room was filled with the rich aroma of coffee. She gazed eagerly at the cup, wanting to taste it. "I usually don’t like sugar or milk in my coffee. This is the amount for a ‘golden cup.’ Just make it like this next time," Scott said. Julissa blinked in confusion. "What’s a golden cup?" "It’s the ideal ratio of coffee grounds to water, 1:16," he replied, placing the cup in front of her. "Take a sip and remember the taste."

He let out a small chuckle, then quickly covered his mouth. “Did you… did you do this?” Ryder asked in a low, dangerous voice. Arden swallowed hard, but he still had that mischievous glint in his eyes. “Do what?” Ryder’s hand slammed against the table, making everyone jump. “You added sugar to my coffee?” he demanded. I rushed to her company and gave the coffee to her assistant. Geoffrey left the counter and went to deliver the drink to the lady.
