The heat from the coffee didn't last long as the air was so cold, they had to finish the caffeine quickly or else they would lose the thrill of enjoying real coffee. But this situation was too difficult to accept and Noel couldn't enjoy his coffee properly.

I huffed pushing the door open “ Creed doesn’t think cream cheese on a bagel tastes good. He’s literally not human.” Ryan griped “ Is that really what you two are arguing about?” Walking over to the coffee mug that sat on my desk I can tell it is hot which means the cook just brought it in not too long ago. Taking a sip, I take in the hotness that runs down my throat as peace in this messed up word. After making sure everything was dissolved, Claire added cold water so the hot coffee wouldn't burn her tongue. "You're really strange," Peter remarked casually. As Claire stirred her coffee, she looked at Peter. "What's so strange about that?" "You brew coffee with boiling water, but then you add cold water. Isn't that odd?" Claire laughed at his response. "Let me ask you this: when you brew coffee with hot water from the dispenser, do you drink it right away?" she asked. Peter shook his head. "Of course not. My tongue would burn if I did."
