He lunges for me, causing a powerful collision which knocks me off balance. My inexperience is working against me as Soliaire now has me pinned down. "You are strong," he starts to morph back to his human self, obviously confident that he doesn't need his demon self to take me on. "But not strong enough." He starts to drive his hand into my chest, going for the heart, only this time his hand is practically on fire.

Beasts are mutated animals with extreme intelligence, they can sense and find prey weaker than them and hunt them, if they find prey stronger than them they use different methods to hunt the prey, every beast can become strong by preying on other animals and hibernating as it increases their mutation level making them strong. A beast's power is measured by its mutation level. Level 10 beasts are capable of killing 10 humans and a level 1 beast is capable of immobilizing a human and if left they can completely kill the human and there are also level 100 beasts that rarely come out of their hiding and they are capable of destroyin

The crimson eyes in the canyon didn't just blink; they seemed to ignite, casting a blood-red hue over the ash-grey snow of the Ever-Dark. A low growl reverberated through the ground, vibrating up my legs and shaking the marrow in my bones. From the depths of the abyss emerged a behemoth. It wasn't a wolf, nor a dragon. It was a Cerberus of the Void—a three-headed hound made entirely of compressed ash and obsidian bone, standing as tall as a watchtower.

It could be lurking in the shadows. Stay wide-awake chaps, do not let your defenses down! Have your guns on standby and flashlight focus!” Another police officer shouted.

He answered. His words made total sense. As simple as he looked, he was wise and very accurate with his intuitions. "So what's your decision father. We both know that when you cross the damn river there is no point of return." I reminded him. "Damon, That Beast is searching for a breeder. A bond and mate. If luckily Hera proves herself worthy and its instinct is drawn fully to her, it won't harm her. I don't want to think the worst that's why I still have a ray of hope that she is still alive and being kept well." He answered.

Japhtar shrieked from the rear lines, and I caught the look of fear on Nola’s face as the monster gripped her by the meat of her arms, dragging her to the guards standing around him before he started to transform too. I roared again, charging toward him as the bubble and snap of balls of muscle popped out from his back and chest, the ugly veins throbbing against his singed fur until he was bigger than me. A mammoth of strength and wickedness that opened the bullet of his large jaws to bellow waves of rage toward me as I sprinted to meet him, slapping his disciples out of the way like they were all but flies in my salad.
