The beautiful dress not only highlighted Bella's fair skin but also accentuated her attractive curves. Bella had light makeup, flowing long hair, and wore an expensive silver-white jewelry set, enhancing her beautiful face. The combination of dark clothing and sparkling jewelry created an elegant and impressive style.

Twilight asked, noticing her friend’s flushed face and clenched fists. Bella gritted her teeth. “That man is the devil, Twilight! He humiliated me!” Twilight raised a brow. “What happened?” Bella crossed her arms, inhaling a sharp breath. “I tried to… charm him, but he called Vice Chancellor Katherine on me. Can you believe that?” Twilight gasped, her eyes wide with shock. “Wait, what?! He actually called her?” “Yeah, and he didn’t even blink while doing it. Cold bastard!” Bella fumed.

Autumn’s voice cracked, “For a week now, I’ve seen the same dream. A man calls me his wife. He’s cold. Dangerous. I’m terrified.” The priestess placed her hands on Autumn’s temples. “Because he was your husband… in a life you no longer remember.” The torches dimmed. Light shimmered in a glowing circle around them. Visions began to swirl like mist, and the past unfolded before their eyes. Bella grabbed her coffee and escaped to the backyard, her hands shaking so badly she had to set the mug down. Not yet. As if it was inevitable. As if they were all just waiting for the right moment to cross a line that should never be crossed. She paced the small patio, trying to sort through the tangle in her chest. Guilt. Anger. Confusion. Ara shook her head and looked into Bella's eyes “Just play as Thati, just like you first did when you entered this mansion..." "I didn't mean to pretend, When I woke up, they called me by your name" Bella's confession "My only plan was to become a victim and kill the first archon because that was what I was ordered to do." Bella was slightly silent then looked at ara "Do you know anything about Thati or Agatha... Whatever her name is?." Bella couldn't help but asked her.

I added, hoping that would sway her. But instead her eyes fell on the Beta, tears beginning to build. And he suddenly enveloped her in an embrace. Angry eyes were upon me from all directions as I began to realize my plan was failing miserably. I was about to speak again, try desperately to win Bailey over, when I saw her whispering to the Beta. Before I could move, his canines had elongated and his teeth sunk into her neck… he had marked her!

Bella’s POV In a few minutes, it would be midnight and my heart stopped beating. The noise of the crowd around me was nothing compared to the chaos in my head. I was going to turn twenty-one and it meant I could finally be my own wolf. I could finally stop being a shadow of my sister, Talia. “Can you feel the air change, Bella?” Like a curse, I snapped out of my trance and I heard her high-pitched voice right in front of me –Talia McKenzie, my twin sister. She had her arms spread out and her eyes locked on mine as she dared me to give her a reply.
