I whisper to him, and he huffs through his teeth before he sidesteps me to face Lauren. "Why are you covering up for your father? He got you into this mess; reveal his location and redeem yourself," Harry tells her in a soft tone, and a sneer forms on my lips. I know he's only talking to her like that and in that tone to gain information from her, but I don't know why I'm getting overly jealous about it. Maybe it's because seeing them together always reminds me that she was once his mate. Even though Harry claims that he never felt any emotion for her and that they never did anything together, the burning jealousy is still there.
