Dungeon Nursery Novels & Stories

“The nursery.” Kael didn’t answer. He didn’t have to. They moved fast. Through the forest path, through the fog, through the tangle of roots and old graves that lined the eastern ridge. Wolves followed behind in silence, weapons drawn, senses sharp. The air itself seemed to resist them, heavy and wet like breath. The Hollow’s nursery sat in a hollowed-out ridge of oak and stone, guarded by two of their strongest sentries, or it had been. When Aria and Kael reached it, the door was open, one hinge hanging loose, the scent of silver and smoke heavy in the air.

The dawn light filtered through the compound’s crystalline glass walls, softening the hardened angles of surveillance cameras and reinforced doors. Inside the nursery, Savannah reclined in a high-backed chair, its upholstery trimmed with velvet and erased storylines. Little Eva lay asleep across her chest, her tiny breaths a lullaby of fragile hope. The air smelled faintly of lavender and fresh sheets—an intentional attempt to heal what had been burned away.

Who knows, maybe when daddy arrives he won't play with us? “I don’t know that anymore, unfortunately! After eating we went to the games room where we spent the rest of the day playing and Dr. Charles didn't show up. I then went to bathe Yan and put him to sleep, but he asked me if he could sleep with me, he was too sad to be alone. That once again moved me, how needy Yan felt and how could you say no to a child who just wanted love and attention? That was impossible, so I let him stay in my room and sleep with me without any problems, I just hope he doesn't disturb me.

He took the stick and the robe and got out of the dungeon. He stood outside and looked up at the bright ceiling. The place outside the dungeon was like a forest on the roof. Trees scattered around A river runs silently. There were crystals emitting light all over the place. "So much for the name Undead Sanctuary..." He muttered as he turned around and looked into the tunnel behind him. This was where it came from. To him, this was the same as a village or town Newbie . This place was really beautiful. No one would associate this place with the Undead if they didn't know his name. It's true that only six out of the twelve dungeons were undead but that wasn't the same for the dungeons below.

she murmured. I smiled. “Maybe because you have…kinda,” I said cryptically, taking her hand and leading her down the hallway. She stopped short when I opened the door to the room. The nursery. The space was bathed in soft, warm light, the walls painted a pale, soothing green. A white crib stood in the center, surrounded by shelves lined with books, plush toys, and even a tiny rocking chair in the corner. Nora’s hand flew to her mouth, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears.

He hit a button on his desk, and Arthur Vance appeared on the monitor. "The PR team is losing their minds, Dante," Arthur said, his tie loosened, his forehead shiny with sweat. "Thorne is demanding the 'nursery access' shots we promised. I told them the nursery is off-limits, but the board’s rep is saying it’s part of the 'Unified Legacy' package." "The nursery is off-limits," Dante said, his voice a low growl. "If a single camera lens crosses the threshold of the thirty-fourth floor, the PR firm is fired before the red light goes on. Am I clear?"

The nursery was no longer a sanctuary of soft wool and carved wooden toys. It had become a pressurized chamber of shadow and light. As Killian and I burst through the door, the black water seeping from the vents was already pooling on the rug, obsidian liquid that moved with a predatory intent toward the three small beds in the center of the room. "Stay back!" I screamed, my voice cracking.

“Baby, we haven’t even started the nursery yet. With the twins it was done by now.” “Dad is taking over for me, so we will start it first thing in the morning.” Anthony wasn’t lying, there were eight people in the room getting it ready in the morning, it was done by that night. “You want to see what it looks like?” “Can you help me up the stairs?” Anthony picked her up and carried her to the new nursery. The room was rose teal and had little woodland animals all over it. The cribs were violet with clouds on them. “This room is perfect for out little girls.”

“I need to go. Make sure one of you is with her for the whole time.” When I took the lift to the dungeon, one of the war team was already waiting for me in the hall of the dungeon. The dungeon was actually just our term for a three-level basement that Zephyr had built to maximise the use of the hideout. The north dungeon is right below the dorm. It’s for the lab and also the clinic.

The scent of sterilized air and baby lotion hung in the corridors, creating an ambiance of care and warmth. Reaching the nursery, a nurse guided me to where little Damian lay. The room was bathed in a soft, muted light, creating a cocoon of serenity around the sleeping infants. My heart swelled with emotion as I caught sight of my son, swaddled in blankets, his tiny features peaceful in repose.
