Now that it's certain she can bring animals and plants, the space needs to be divided so they won't run havoc inside. Bella continued to walk around and saw an old man sitting at the roadside, selling mixed objects. Her attention was on a simple ring with a very small dark blue stone in it. It looks cheap but, she had a nagging feeling that she needs to have it. The ring was 5$, she paid 1000$, took the ring, and ran off. She pitied the old man. What she didn't know was the man shed tears but was smiling, silently thanking her.

“One Christmas I bought her a pair of slippers from the corner shop. She went mad because they were too big and ugly for her. It’s kind of a long running joke for us.” She smiled even though she didn’t understand the joke. Bella stood with him as he checked through several items of jewellery. While the assistant was flirting with him Bella gazed over several of the jewels. A ruby pendant caught her eye. The jewel in the centre was surrounded by a silver serpent. The design was entirely feminine and beautifully crafted. When she spotted the cost of the piece she shook her head. There was no way she’d ever be able to afford such an extravagant piece of jewellery. She’d be terrified to wear it.

She said as Killian nodded and went to the next section for his activities. "Did i do anything wrong? I thought that i could at least make a normal friend here before i go back but even that seems to be impossible." She continued with her exercise ignoring his cold reaction to her. Just as she finished, a group of high school girls walked up to her, "Are you Bella?" They asked excitedly as Bella shook her head. "No, My name is Jewel." She denied and replied with a natural smile. "Really? You really look like Bella." They insisted.

Bella’s baby might never have been in danger. “There must be something I can do for you,” I said. “Something to make up for what happened to you.” Bella paused for a long moment, thinking. Finally, she admitted, “I am a little short on cash…” “I’ll give you money. Whatever you need.” I straightened. “I’ve got jewels back home. They’re worth way more than my brooch.” Her eyes widened. “You’d really do that?”

I sat down thinking about the situation, but then I got distracted by a call. “Bella?” I wondered. “Hello?” “Hey bestie!” She said excitedly from the other end. “Bella, it is really you! You are back already?” I asked because she told me she had to attend to some work abroad and she told me it was going to take long. “Yes, I quit working with them!” She hissed over the phone. “What? Why? Are the designs you pick not suitable for them?” I asked. Bella is an interior designer and a flower shop owner. She left the country for some projects and she normally collaborates with some other designers.

It was only then did Bella realised she had told a lie but quickly, she shook off the feeling of fear and continued in her steps towards her bedroom. “They didn’t have what I wanted, so I changed my mind,” she lied without looking back. That same night, she stayed up chatting with Richard until late. The next morning around 9, she left with Isla. Bella waited until she was at her apartment before requesting a video call with her friends and the first thing she did even before saying ‘hello’ to them was to raise her left hand and silently show off the beautiful and expensive diamond engagement ring that adored her middle finger.

"Fine miss. Don't be in a hurry, finish your business first," Bella said politely. And she could see that Jennie was chuckling for a moment before finally closing the laptop quietly.
