I said. A knife was thrown into the air beside me stabbed the middle-aged woman's chest and she fell lifelessly on the floor.

Then without warning, she grabbed Daniella tightly by the arm. The sudden grip startled her instantly. The woman’s eyes looked terrified now. “You need to leave this company,” she whispered shakily. Daniella blinked in confusion. “What?” “You need to stay away from these people,” the woman continued quickly, fear clearly shaking her voice. “This place is dangerous.” Daniella’s brows slowly furrowed. “What are you talking about?” The woman’s grip tightened harder around her arm. “This anniversary party…” she whispered shakily. “Something terrible is going to happen.”

“Dean is going to kill me.” I groaned and covered my face with both hands. “Please don’t tell him. Ever.” “I’d never.” She leaned in close. “But I will remember this forever.” I shook my head, half horrified, half dizzy from the whole interaction. My heart was doing backflips in my chest. This woman was dangerous. And I wasn’t entirely sure I minded.
