Belladona Novels & Stories

The plant in the enclosed glass was light purple, flooded with dimly lit light, embedded in the enclosed space. Cole recognised the plant. It was Monkshood also known as Wolfsbane, originated in England. It was a very poisonous plan used as a poison for arrowheads when hunting wolves and its effect was instant and deadly. It is said that the neurotoxins, aconitine and mesaconitine can be absorbed through the skin and cause severe respiratory and cardiac problems which would lead to death. Cole knew it was an effective poison for both humans and Werewolves. The smallest dose used on Isabelle had knocked her out. He grew angry all over again, recalling how that bastard could have caused Isabel

Artemisia looked at the confused woman, that was clearly poison and, particularly, the young woman already had both feet in the grave to drink anything made with the devil's plant. “Don't look at me like that, you're more dead than alive, so there's no better medicine than one that becomes poison.” Leonore took a glass and left two fingers of the liquid as purple as wine, the smell of belladonna filled the room and the redhead held out the poisoned glass to the young woman. Artemisia could have sworn she saw purplish smoke from the outline of a tombstone. He must have been delirious. “Well, if I die it will be a favor I do a lot of people.” Artemisia said and took the goblet, enjoying the lo

But the faint small black orbs growing on the roots of its vines, gave it all away. Belladonna. Or as it's affectionally known to the world—Deadly Nightshade. And the more I looked, the more of it I saw. She had a garden growing of this stuff, and the visceral feeling I was getting from this wasn't good. "Lauren." I called out. "Quickly get me a Ziplock bag and a towel please." I stayed hunched on my knees, trying to study why she had suddenly gained an interest in deadly poisons.

"It was when she found out that she was pregnant with you that she got a foresight about you. In her sight, she saw how you would kill your father, destroy the empire and end all the imperial bloodline. So she tried to run away with you to prevent the tragedy." "So, are you telling me that I was a cursed child since birth?" I asked Lord Arche while looking at the God's pretty, galaxy-like eyes, but he just smiled bitterly at my question instead. At this point, I didn't know whether I should cry or laugh. Now it kinda makes sense. I've heard Bella’s name was given by her mother. Now I could see how her name really suited her. Belladonna. Beautiful lady. But also the name of a fiercely poisono

Her eyes turned completely white. From her woman like voice, it changed into voices of different ages and gender. An old man, a child, and a lady’s voice came out of her mouth when she spoke. “The time has come, that when the moon blankets the sun, the Herald of the embodiment of evil shall be crowned as Queen. A woman with bright purple eyes,” Cassiopeia said. Taylor turned her gaze to Felix, “amethyst eyes,” she said. “The crown will grant her powers beyond her forefathers and shall bring chaos and peril to us all. She shall come to destroy our land and the away the heart of Nuella Sangre.” Stefan and Taylor turned their gaze to Felix once more.

He says as the doctor comes in. “Trevor, stay here with your cousin. Alpha Cain, please show me where they are grown. We might have a bigger problem than just these two.” I emphasize, trying to reiterate how important it is to find the source. Belladonna is deadly to every species, but more so for werewolves. Even the smallest amount can kill us. I can smell it, but for most, it is scentless. Thank you, Infinity!

It was the highest means of torture that I knew about. "I don't but I know some where can get the Belladonna, deadly Nightshade." She suggested. "I don't want that too." I said with a frown. "Just get me aconite and let's just hope it wouldn't be the bane of me." It was play on words for anyone who knew that aconite was also wolfsbane. "Alright, Alpha." Selena bowed as she left the room and the numbers decreased to only two, I and Sophia.

She just sat down across from me in her floral armchair and folded her hands. “You found something.” It wasn’t a question. I set my cup down, still untouched, and pulled the printout from my coat pocket. I slid it across the table to her. She lifted her glasses and started reading, her eyes narrowing slightly as she moved down the page. When she reached the words Aconitum napellus her breath caught. She looked up. “They used wolfsbane?” “And oleander,” I said quietly. For a moment the only sound in the room was the rain beating against the windows.

Once she's gone and I'm in the clear, I continue walking in the direction of the garden, and I brighten my flashlight once more. I go past the temple, and I see it. Close to a hundred-meter-square land sits over hundreds of belladonna flowers. Oh my God. They're using poison to treat Harry's father? Does Harry know about this? The doctor who prescribed this flower as a cure didn't want to help Sir Smith. It's a slow death for him. Belladonna is the most poisonous flower in the world. And they're making Sir Smith drink three cups of it each day. Someone is trying to kill the former alpha.

Elsa “Deadly Nightshade?” “Humans may also know it as ‘Belladonna’.” Rosa is staring back at her cottage “I’m sorry, Alpha Rex. I should have recognised it. When I saw her stomach, I should have known.” “Rosa, you recognised it eventually.” Rex mutters but his grey eyes are on me. “No. This isn’t good enough.” Rosa scolds herself. “I could have killed her.” “But you didn’t.” Rex tries to reassure her as she continues to blame herself.
