Never Meant to Stay
She instinctively took a step toward me, but when she noticed Sharon, her expression slowly cooled.
"Your wife?"
"Yeah."
Bianca forced a smile, though it didn't look very natural. "I'm happy for you. I wish you both a long, happy marriage. I'll take my daughter and go now."
I nodded in response.
After we passed each other, Sharon held her belly and asked curiously, "Who was that?"
"Just an acquaintance," I replied calmly.
For the rest of my life, Bianca and I would have nothing to do with each other.
