I lifted an eyebrow. "It's worth a try." We placed the beaker over a Bunsen burner. Immediately, the mixture began to glow a brilliant blue, swirling within the container as it mixed on its own.

Feeling giddy, Mikayla put on the bracelet and did a little spin for the guests.
