Benson X Mordecai Novels & Stories

Marc joined in. "You can say all you want guys, I don't care what you think but know that whatever plan you make, I am not in support. I'm outta here" Benson deadpanned and left the room before we could say another word. "Don't mind the warlock. He will come around" Marc uttered after Benson slammed the door shut. "So back to the plans, let's make suggestions," Marc said again, excitement brewing in his tune. "Sure, let's hear them" I concurred facing Marc squarely.

Benson Wood was saying when Camella said “At this point, I will be the one talking and it's compulsory, everyone will have no option than to listen” Benson Wood went lost.

another round of laughter went off. "As I was saying, we are gathered here because we have one interest and that is to see this beautiful couple, Mordecai M. Gabriel and Autumn Glenda Newton—you have a lovely name by the way, miss—and support their relationship as it takes a new turn. The Bible says that he that finds a wife finds a good thing—therefore, Mordecai, you have found a good thing so keep her." "I plan to,"

It taunted. "And the girl, you really think she's your Chance at salvation?" I clenched my jaw, my hand twitching before I could stop it. “You’re not supposed to be here,” I said, my voice low. “Elyon made sure of that.” Mordecai stepped out of the shadow, his grin stretching too wide for a human face. His eyes gleamed the color of burnt copper, slick and hungry. “You think rules ever applied to me? You forget, brother, I was born from your rage. Wherever you are, I am.”

It could be that Jana is a person who 'should not' appear anywhere in the cameras? James Hamilton is a quiet researcher. He doesn't have anyone close to him but one person, Bernice of the east. If her hunches were right, then this could only mean that Jana is that Bernice of the East. Why is she next to George? Is George aware of this? That should be the case. If he isn't, how is he okay with Jana's sloppy services? He doesn't mind Jana because the woman can find dirt to throw the other artists working with George in this studio!

Mordecai himself just stood there, shock flickering over his face before that cruel smirk tugged his lips. “You wouldn’t dare, Bianca,” he drawled, voice like poison. “Not my sweet, loyal Bianca… Your mother should have raised you better than this.” His words were meant to crawl under my skin, to make me doubt myself, but my grip on Bekky didn’t shake. My finger tightened over the trigger, and I leaned forward until Mordecai could see the steel in my eyes. “Try me,” I hissed. “One more step from you or your dogs, and she’s dead before your bullet even leaves the chamber.”

He shook his head, “no. That is behind me. I’m here. I’m invested in getting to know you.” I reach up and rub his back. Wow. So many muscles that I never knew existed. I never thought I could be as turned on just touching a man’s covered back. I sat up next to him, “what did you do in the military?” Benson took a drink of his whiskey and glanced over at me, “I was a gunman.” “Isn’t everyone in the military a gunman?” I asked him. He glanced over at me and back into his glass, “no not quite like me. I was a sniper.”

Hazel knew that Benson was someone who valued tradition, but she hadn’t realized just how deeply ingrained his sense of duty was. She thought their relationship had become quite good, but Benson still maintained a certain respect and distance—like a subordinate to a superior. No wonder Benson had been able to stay by Omar’s side for so long. He was the person Omar trusted the most, and he clearly had some admirable qualities. When Benson saw that there was nothing for him to do at the dining table, he knew that Hazel would likely discuss something important with Omar, so he left. Once the dining room was left with only Omar and Hazel, Omar went straight to the point.

Benson said that, but in fact, he was still unconfident. Everyone knew that Jessica had Mr. Maddox’s backing. At this point, Mary's assistant suddenly muttered inappropriately, "But...hasn't Jessica already gotten rid of the scandals?" Benson glared at the assistant and said sarcastically, "Even if Jessica did get Diomastre's resources, it's never because she got rid of the scandals!" After saying that, he looked at Mary and asked, "Mary, why do you keep silent?"

Not under pressure. Not under questioning. But in comfort. And now I have it. A confirmation. A connection. Benson and his ex wife are still linked. Closer than he wants anyone to know. The rest of the drive was quiet. But this time, it wasn’t just silence. It was filled with meaning. I leaned back slightly, my eyes forward. But my mind? Working. Replaying. Analyzing. Building. Every piece is coming together. Slowly. Carefully. But surely.
