CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE ELIJAH'S POV I totally messed up yesterday. I messed up so bad that I had to send my mum to go talk with Cassie. Thank God she came back with good news. She told me Cassie was elated to hear that I wasn't going to choose Ella over her. I can never do that! Cassie is my mate and Luna. I cannot live without her. I cannot rule without her. “So that just leaves you two,'' Mj said, placing an open beer in front of him. “My name is Moxie but everyone calls me Mox” one of the two said,Mj couldn't believe how breathtaking all of these people were. She put the last beer on the counter and looked at this kid. “And what about you handsome” Mj said out of habit “Jay, my name's Jay” he said as he tried not to stutter and looked her in the eye. All the sudden Mj felt something again, not like the electricity from before but something pulling her almost as if she knew this guy. “Nice to meet you Jay, finally” Mj said, almost like a stab as he had been just kind of standing there like a spectator throughout most of the mornings events.

“Oh?” Our food came but I didn’t touch mine. I waited until Fred had a bite in his food before I spoke again. “I want to know why Harrison is dead,” I stated plainly. “Jordan didn’t know for sure, but I bet you do.” Fred had to finish swallowing. “I might. That sort of information isn’t always safe to share around. It would really have to be worth my while if I started running my mouth.” I’d thought Mordechai would stay silent like he always did, but he leaned forward with his eyes locked on this man. “Interesting seeing someone on the lowest totem trying to bargain with someone at the very top.”

She sighed making a meh face The rest of breakfast was fun. The cook came back and thanked Charlotte for her generosity and help with breakfast.
