The Assassin

The Assassin

I thought I could handle this on my own, thought I could bring Zephyr back without assistance because I’m her mate, but it's not enough. “Did you see the person? Did you see the assassin?” Avani snarls. I look at him, knowing this will hurt him nearly as much as it hurts me. “It’s Zephyr, Avani. She’s the assassin.” He falls back on his butt. “What? Are you sure?” he asks. I raise an eyebrow at him. “Why would she do this? Why would she kill these shifters?” Cedric asks. “They got to her,” Avani says as realization dawns on him and he looks at me. He and I have worked together long enough. We understand each other without words.

What an amazing read, wow!! Tana & Avanis stories were so good, but this one just made the series even better. This author has quickly become one of my favorites on here & definitely one of the best! I’m so excited for Kaylanis story!! Any idea when that one will be available on here, author? :)

I had put off reading this for a bit after the 2nd book. Zeph wasn't very developed and knowing she was starting on a dark side wasnt that enticing but DAMM i blew through this after giving her a chance. the plot and characters and world just draw you in!

Alpha's Dirty Secrets

Alpha's Dirty Secrets

were assassins in the truest sense of the word. Hashshashin, Ninja, Thuggee, Black Lotus, Coils of the Serpent, Brotherhood of the Wolf, the Black Hand, Cult of the Jaguar and the Ghost Tigers. They were not just murder for hire, but murder to advance their cause. Harmonious existence was bad for business, so they stirred up rivalries and conflict in every corner of the globe.

Sarah Killian The Mullets of Madness

Sarah Killian The Mullets of Madness

Well, aside from pretty much all of humanity, Michael Bay for crimes against ‘80’s and ‘90’s pop culture, and Winona Ryder for being a brat. Ever since that run-in with Nick, I have been taking informal daily martial arts lessons from Mary Sue. One major difference between assassins and P.S.K.’s is assassins are fully trained in martial arts. I’d never really had an interest in martial arts before, but after getting my ass handed to me by Nick in Duluth, I reluctantly admitted it might be a worthwhile skill to take up, because even before he joined T.H.E.M. as an assassin he was already a deadly martial arts expert. I didn’t want to have to see Mary Sue anymore than absolutely necessary, but

The Hated Mate (Lycan and his Lover Book 2)

“This is the only piece of truth you spoke in weeks.” He grabs her arm and glares at her. “Who are you?” he demands. “You are not an omega, are you?” Anna pushes him away and stands up. “I read books because I am an assassin and it is my job to hide myself in the midst of my victims’ social circles!” She reasons. “I merely happened to stumble upon the book in one of my many assassinations and it is the last book I read before I was blinded.” Lavi also stands up, not convinced with her logic.

A wonderful companion to it’s predecesor. The story is a fantasy dark romance but in a good way. It’s done so well even Shakespeare would approve lol it’s full of hate love and adventure. Watch out Lord of the rings you have competition with this wonderful writer.

Undercover Assassin

I released a sigh of relief and settled on the driver's seat but then the car turned silent. "Can I ask you a question?" Leonardo broke the silence after a while. "Go ahead." I answered. "Why did you decide to become an assassin? I mean you have all your life right in front of you and you could have literally been anything else." "I didn't have the option to be anything else. I didn't even get to choose to become this, it was forced on me. He stayed silent like he was ushering me to continue with what I was saying.

THE Assassin's Temptation: The Confradia Assassins II

THE Assassin's Temptation: The Confradia Assassins II

I had just come back from a tour in Iraq when my handler, Willem, found me. It didn’t take much to convince me to join the ranks of a Confradia assassin. I was very well trained in combat situations. And killing men who think they can kill innocents with impunity is right up my alley. Don’t get me wrong; I am not some kind of sociopath who enjoys killing. I just live by a code that if you hurt innocents and are out to destroy the world, I will be more than happy to escort you out of it permanently. I especially enjoy knowing that innocent people are safe because of me.

This book was well written. It has an exciting story and well-built characters. I can’t find book 1 of this series, but this book gave enough background info that it worked as the first read in the series.

Excellent plot! Surprisingly, the FL is the one not really likable, but that's super intriguing and keeps you hooked. ML is really funny in FL's body! No excessive violence and verbal abuse. It's one of the best books on this platform. Wish I could give it more stars!

NO ONE ASKED

NO ONE ASKED

Not with this character anyway. If they'd desired merely to knock me out, they could have done so relatively quickly. Instead, the assassin could have shot in me the back. Or, without a silencer and didn't want noise, a tap on the head and a heave over the rail to the hospital car park sixty feet below would have served their purpose equally well. But this assailant didn't want anything so quiet and painless and straightforward. If I was to die, this killer wished to know I was dying for me, this assassin the tearing agony of death by violence, for the delight of savouring my suffering—a vicious evil sadist with a dark mind crimsoned by the lust for blood. The murderer of fourteen people and

THE BILLIONAIRE ALPHA'S FORBIDDEN MATE

THE BILLIONAIRE ALPHA'S FORBIDDEN MATE

It wasn't until I spoke with one of the assassins that I realized they were there to kill me because of the death of the same young man I had left to go. "I was once again so stunned to hear that. I can't deny that I was so confused at that very moment. However, after some thought, I easily realized what was going on. The dog, Books, sorry Brooks was merely trying to drive a wedge between us. "Since he knew I'd be coming after him, what was the best way to ward me off if not to make you come after me?
