His Ghost Knife

His Ghost Knife

Subtle, but I notice everything. Klaus de Luca. He didn’t see me as he entered a room alone. I didn’t hesitate. Silently, smoothly, I followed. The door was just starting to close when— CRASH! A vase flew at my head. I ducked instinctively, the ceramic shattering against the wall behind me. I straightened slowly, blade already drawn. Then I heard his voice. Low. Calculated. “So... you’re the Ghost Knife. The woman with no past. No future. Who sent you ? .”

Twice Marked,Twice Loved

Twice Marked,Twice Loved

The blade struck the shield with a deafening crack, sparks of silver and black energy exploding outward, illuminating the bloodied faces of Gale, Levi, and the guardians. The assassin recoiled, its borrowed body convulsing as the void eyes widened in surprise. "The Shadowed One... claims you," it hissed, its voice a chorus of whispers from the abyss. But Alina's shield held the bond with Gale amplifying it, his golden aura weaving through like threads of sunlight reinforcing the night. Gale lunged forward, his claws rending the assassin's throat in a swift, brutal arc. Black ichor sprayed, the body crumpling like a discarded puppet, the void eyes dimming to lifeless gray.

The Alpha Assassin

The Alpha Assassin

I retorted. “There are many ways to kill. Brute force doesn’t equate to all of them, not even many. Death was my job, and I found it worked best when you had the element of surprise. Assassins prefer a silent, clean kill. Blood and gore is extra.” He tried a smile, but his eyes were far away and hollow.

Great story! Very well written with a strong main character and storyline. Well developed characters that you can sympathize with and dislike their actions at the same time. Would be awesome if there was a prequel story and just waiting on the sequel. Mar 27/24

Such a refreshing read!!! STRONG female lead. This was so different and so insanely satisfying. It has everything, drama, love, friendship, rebuilding. You’ll laugh and cry and go on an emotional roller coaster but it’s worth it. I’m going to re read it now

Marked By Midnight

Marked By Midnight

Then lightning cracked the sky, brief but blinding, and that’s when I saw it. A lone figure stood in the clearing, staring directly at the window. Dressed in pitch black from head to toe, his face hidden behind a mask. Two curved knives were strapped in an ‘X’ across his back, their hilts glinting beneath the flash of light. I gasped. An assassin. Not just any assassin, but one of them. I’d heard stories, ghosts in the night, scentless killers trained by elite packs to eliminate without a trace. Only those with dark secrets and darker power could summon them.

Assassin's Shadow

Assassin's Shadow

He is well dressed, and his presence radiates dominance, power, and respect. He's all the things I crave to be. My eyes are full of admiration until I remember the sudden horror I had just witnessed, and my gaze falls back to the ground. After what I just seen I'm sure he's going to kill me for it. Any sane person who's ruthless enough to kill would kill me. Someone as ruthless as the man before me. A man from the shadows suddenly appeared that I was not aware of. He is just as tall and slender as the one in front of me. He has a full black beard and short black hair, with a small grey patch in the front.

The Vampire's Second Chance

The Vampire's Second Chance

My heart raced, hand gripping the wall behind me. Red eyes stood behind him, a dagger glimmered in the moonlight. The light beam shone across the red eyes figure’s face. It’s lower part of his face covered by a black mask. The Assassin. “And I deserve to return to my prison, where Hades will send me to judgment,” Ir’ak let out a ragged breath. The dagger, once twinkling in the small light from the window, plunged into Ir’ak’s neck. His legs knees dropped into the carpet.

The Assassin's Surrender VIIII

The Assassin's Surrender VIIII

Thankfully, most of the stuff just involved hacking into certain systems and unraveling encryptions for a couple of Assassins. I look around the living empty living room and glimpse into my room, but it’s empty. Heart pounding with panic, I check the bathroom, but it’s also empty. It’s only when I hear sounds coming from my gym that my breathing steadies. I watch from the shadows as April practices a couple of fighting moves. At one point, she takes two knives from my weapons wall and expertly twirls and throws them. She really is good. Maybe even better than me. I’m just not sure if I want to be with another Assassin. I know that I’m being unfair, but I meant it when I said that I needed ti

LIGHTNING THE ASSASSIN

LIGHTNING THE ASSASSIN

Pick the black guy, Percy said to the guy by the screen stopping his movement again. The assassin in question was a very dark man with skin like coffee, and eyes that matches his skin with piercing cheeks bones, and hollow cheeks, his stare intense and deadly. His nickname 'Blade' thirty-six, been with the agency for eight years, has a rank of gamma with six hunts, and slices through his victims before they could see his blade coming, he is fast and calculating. The next Assassin picked was called Lighting a young very beautiful curvaceous woman with fiery beach blonde tresses floating down her back, parted at the center with pale liquid blue eyes that looked to have sparkles in them with a

Revenge of the Betrayed: The Domineering Duke Falls for Me

Revenge of the Betrayed: The Domineering Duke Falls for Me

Reginald, dressed in black as usual, moved like a shadow in the night. Meanwhile, Ivan was about to round a corner, unaware of the silver gleam of a blade silently closing in on him. With a slight smile, Reginald sprang forward. Though still several paces away, he arrived ahead of the assassin, calmly positioning himself between Ivan and the attacker. He blocked the blade with his sheathed sword, the assassin’s shock contrasting with Reginald’s nonchalance. With a flick of his wrist, Reginald unsheathed his sword, its cold gleam slicing through the night as it effortlessly slit the assassin’s throat.

The Obsidian Covenant #1: The Rejected Mate's Ruin

And highly illegal. The smudge elongated. Solidifying into a thin, wiry frame clad in matte-black fiber. The assassin didn't make a sound. He didn't even have a scent. He held a jagged sliver of obsidian—a Null-blade, designed to bypass Barzil-armor and sever the spinal cord of a sleeping target. He reached for the door handle. The fool. He was risking execution to kill a girl who wasn't even there. I moved. I didn't roar. I didn't announce my presence. I simply detached myself from the wall and became the crushing weight of the world.
