My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

He asked curiously. I thought about it for a moment, but then shook my head. “No… Officer Ken said they weren’t going to rest until they figure out who did this. I guess I just have to trust them…” I said as I sighed. “I could always see if my father would look into it as well. He’s a great detective.” “That’s a good idea. If anyone can figure this mystery out, it’s Alpha Bastien,” Brody said with a bright smile. His smile always seemed to light up the room; even though he wasn’t my mate, Val seemed to have relaxed as well.

After leaving a review for the "prequel" to this I realized I never reviewed this book!! I really love this book, and how much you can really feel for the characters and the amount of unexpected turn of events is extremely intriguing and captivating (I'm usually good at predictions lol).Must read!

Good book. I wish that Alpha Jonathan paid for his part in Lila’s situation. I feel like the story isn’t complete without that being addressed. Other than that, overall a good book but contains a lot of grammatical and character’s name errors.

Detective in the crosshairs

Detective in the crosshairs

No. The department must be trusted. And the agency should send reliable people to work there. He closed all the windows with his mouse. - All open... you are a detective and you leave evidence like this? Maybe I do need a break. Without realizing it, he missed the slip of a criminal.

Detective Small, I learned while in Dallas, is nothing short of a psychopath. His partner Detective Ryan was a good person who put trust in him as her partner, and it got her killed. His talent for pinning murders on members of society he deems to be unworthy was horrifying. I approached Detective Ryan with some information and hoped that she would take it seriously.

Becoming the Alpha's Pawn

Becoming the Alpha's Pawn

But I'm going to get through this all fine, I haven't done anything wrong after all. “Luna, we meet again”. The detective says. Oh good, he remembers too. “You might have forgotten but I'm Detective Casper Alvin, and this is my comrade, Detective Jade Kelsey”. The lady doesn't offer as much as a smile, just a small nod that I could have definitely missed if I wasn't looking. “I do remember you, detective”. I say, bringing one leg over the other in an attempt to portray the confidence that I don't have. His eyes fix on every little action I make, making me even more uncomfortable.

The Billionaire's Lure

The Billionaire's Lure

“I’m trying to zone in on whether she had any enemies, stalkers, or crazy ex-boyfriends.” “Yeah. She’s been here a few times. I’m not always here to keep watch, but there have been times I’ve seen her here.” Bentley stared sternly at the detective, who was nearly a foot shorter than him. Even though the severity of the situation was cruel and intense, I couldn’t help but find him attractive. The way he handled himself in the eyes of the law—so confident and graceful—made me want to give him a pass in more areas than one.

The storyline is too good to be true! I love all the leads and emotions are shown very clearly... but nowadays, it looks like story is still dragged out... same drama, same praises, same scandals... either this should end on a good note or may be Author should change the perspective.
Peachy Barbadillo
a lot is going on with the story and I feel like Stanley was being left behind in this story...I think y should focus more on the two main character...where is Stanley's point of view when xyla were being attack and bullied..that's all but great story though but decided to drop it...

A Murderer's Luck

A Murderer's Luck

In the end, Meredith and George decided to arrange a meeting with the police detective assigned to Helena’s case, Detective Sergio. He was a tall, lean man with clean-cut hazelnut hair. Alice could make out the wrinkles in his forehead and cheeks as he settled himself in front of her. She watched the man remove his black coat and placed it on the table before taking out a medium-sized notepad and a pen. Alice loved comic books about detectives. Her favorite was James Gordon; he was Batman’s acquaintance and a respectable captain of the Gotham City Police Department. Whenever she saw a detective, she could not help but be mesmerized by their badges and work.

Ex-Hockey Star Regret

Ex-Hockey Star Regret

More like, the kind of place where people minded their business and didn't ask questions. The detective himself looked like the kind of man who'd seen too much. Let's say he would be in his mid-forties maybe. Sharp eyes that didn't miss anything. The way he sat, shoulders relaxed but alert, told me he'd done this a hundred times before. "Like you already said, I am the best in the first. And I don't do less, I give you exactly what you want and that's made me stand out in the security service. Just let me know the exact thing you want and you have to trust me because I don't disappoint."

Who's the Real Detective Here?

Who's the Real Detective Here?

I stared at the screen, hands shaking as Jenna's interview played. Reporters swarmed her. She just smiled, calm as ever. "I have a special ability," she said. "I can see from a killer's perspective. That's how I found the serrated knife and tracked him down." The crowd went wild. "No wonder Detective Blake's unstoppable!" "With her around, criminals don't stand a chance!" Then a reporter cut through the noise: "Since you joined, Detective Mercer hasn't solved a single case. What do you think about that?"
