Best Friend's Date Novels & Stories

“Who are you to him, anyway?” “Uh… we just met yesterday.” I paused. “Wait. Who are you to him?” “Best friend,” she said brightly. “Since forever. And this one—” she jerked her thumb at Matteo “—is also his best friend. We’re dating, by the way.” “Oh. Okay. Cool.” I sipped my coffee.

Claudia asked. I smile in front of my glass, fix my lipstick, and well, I'm done with my makeup, not too flashy. I'm used to makeup that looks simple, "I have a date today," I answered ignorantly. Maria and Claudia stare at each other confused "dating? With whom? Oh, God? Do you already have a lover? "Claudia asked furiously. I laughed and turned to stare at my two best friends, "yeah, Dennis and I will date today as lovers in one day," I answered frankly.

This was unbelievable and sad at the same time. “Who are you going with?” he asked. Amber smiled. “Axel.” Bryan blinked. “Your brother? How can your brother be your date?” Amber shook her head, laughing softly. “Axel is not my brother. He is my brother’s best friend.” Bryan mouthed an “Oh” but something was off. “Wait. If he is your brother’s best friend, then he is more like a brother to you. Why would he be your date? I thought people who are dates to the dance obviously have crushes on each other?”

"We are partners. The $130 million will be sent to your account before you go." "Just send it now, we are going already. My date is not the party type." Daniel rushed his words. "Wait! You two aren't dating?" Zack arched his brows, licking his lips. I don't know why those brown eyes won't leave my body. "We are lovers. Yeah, we are dating. Daniel, can we go please?" I feighed a pout. I don't want men following me around. That's why I said that. Especially, Zack.

"Nice to meet you," Collen quickly took my hands and shook them. My hands fell limp to my side. "Is everything okay?" Hannah asked, her green eyes searching mine. "Yeah, just that um, I was about to go to bed when you came," I lied through my teeth. My heart was beating not just within my chest but I could hear it in head. This was the first time I had lied to my best friend in all our twelve years of being friends. "Oh, I was hoping you could stay up with us to watch a movie."

“But its true! I just wish that my family’s wealth can stand against them so that I can fight for you. And have my chance to prove my love to you.” I sighed. “Its already done Alex. We can’t do anything about it.” "Yes I know." He chuckled. “Let’s stop this drama. So now can I have a date with my best friend?” I smile and nodded. "I free my schedule today for my best friend." I saw him smile sweetly at me. Then he grab my hand and we both leave that place to start our date. It feels great to have someone you can talk to. Someone you trust. I told Alex everything about my relationship with Maru. From the family dinner where they announced the date of our wedding up to now.

"No. We both decided that we'll be exclusive until we both get fed up with each other." "Oh?" he uttered, amusement lacing his voice. "Just to be very clear, fuck is all that you two do, right? And you're exclusive with each other? Like, you don't do dates or anything?" Before I could even realize what it would sound like to my best friend, I already told him what happened the day after Gunner and I decided to be fuck buddies. "He took me on a date once, but I am not sure if that counts, though." Zach looked surprised but still asked a follow-up question. "Why?"

] She sent a laughing emoji. [I miss you.] That one made me freeze for a second. I read it twice. My fingers hovered over the screen before I typed back. [I miss you too.] I could almost picture her smiling at her phone. [When all of this is over, we should go out. Just us. A proper date,] she sent. A proper date. My heart skipped. We’d been careful. Quiet. Sneaking conversations whenever Ian wasn’t around. The last thing I needed was my best friend finding out I was dating his sister before I was ready to tell him.

Freda gave me a look that tells me to explain further. I sighed. “I’ll be his date tomorrow for the launching of the company’s brand new product. And we will confirm to everyone that we’re serious about each other.” “Oh, so this is really getting started.” My bestfriend said, nodding her head. I watched her smile grow on her face. “I’ll do your hair.” I beamed and hugged her. “Yey! You’re the best!” Freda scoffed, ever the cringe-elusive girl that she was. She has always not been much about sweet gestures.

"To where?" "To my date plan." Then she smiled. 'I wonder what this b*tch date plan is.' ----- Celine's Pov I never been on a romantic date before. But when my bestfriend Mingyu asked me to go out once in a while, we always do this. "An Arcade huh. The first thing on your date list is playing at the arcade?" The 2nd heir who is standing beside me complained. His right brow raised and his lips were straight in line.
