Novel & Cerita Best Friend's Date

Days passed by as my health kept on improving. I was having a video call with Annie, and you know how annoying she could be. "I don't know which clothes to wear for my date," Annie pouted holding two gowns in my front while I rolled my eyes. Great news! My best friend has a boyfriend now and I'm so happy for her. They both met when she went on a business trip to Florida. One thing led to another and they grew fond of each other, His name is Kingsley Macbeth.

And like a sweet guy, he offered to be my date for the night. Before we could enter inside, we saw Ryan getting out of his limo that just arrived a few minutes later than us. And guess who was his date for tonight? Yep, it was my best friend Tiffany. I felt like running around and hugging my best friend and cousin! Thank God. Finally! Both of the idiots got some sense knocked into their thick love struck heads. Finally, something spectacular was happening, so maybe there’s some hope for tonight for not being a complete shit storm.

My best friend squealed, declaring, “That was my date for tonight.” “Your date?” “Don’t tell me you forgot.” “Forgot what?” “I have a date tonight with that handsome hunk I met at the gym a few days ago. I told you, and you agreed to tag along as a third wheel.” “Oh boy... I remember now. I don’t think I’ll be tagging along anymore.” I sighed, and Nicole shot me daggers. “You wouldn’t dare.” “I’m not in the mood to go clubbing right now, Nicole. I have a lot on my plate, and—”

' he pretended to zip his mouth and throw the key. 'How did your date go?' 'It was good.' 'Good?' I blinked at his response, he rubbed the back of his neck, he looked nervous. 'Yeah it was great too.' 'Great? hold on what am I missing here?' 'The date was great I won't lie she...she was good but...' 'She isn't the one.' I finished the statement. 'Yeah, I really thought she was the one but the more time we spent I.. I realized we would be better as friends.'

“Surely, Jo, you know how girls like going around calling everybody they’ve known for a minute bestie, right?” “Not everybody. It’s usually other girls. Not guys. And you haven’t known her for a minute.” “How do you…” he trails off. “Never mind. You probably stalked her too.” I lift my brow. “She isn’t my ex if that’s what you’re asking.” “That’s not what I’m asking. I doubt an ex would be calling you bestie. In fact, it would be a problem if they were.” “If you want to find out about Abby and all the other besties I’ve made over the past three years,” he says, leaving his spot against the railing and approaching me, “you should go on a date with me. That’s what normal people do when they wa

I said and I could see her stunning countenance, "Don't tell me you don't know?" "He said nothing about that," she murmured as if she couldn't believe it, "I mean, since when?" she wondered. "I believe it was last Thursday because that's when he stated they were dating," I responded, hurt at the thought that he will never be mine. I suppose my role will always be his best friend forever. "What?!" People on the bus began to gaze at our sight as they heard her practically scream. "I'm sorry," she apologized and turned back to face me, "Is this for real? I had no idea he was courting or flirting with someone."

“I’ve got a date tonight.” I blinked at him. He was smiling at me and chewing with a smile while giving the cool boy wink that girls would die for. “Wait… no, you don’t have to cancel on your friends for me…” “Yes, I do,” he said, before focusing on his food. “It’s a date. I’m not canceling.” Marcus made a face like he was personally wounded. “You serious?” “Absolutely,” Kade said without missing a second, throwing an arm loosely around my shoulders and pulling me slightly toward him. “This is gonna be a good one. Trust me.”

He was ingenuous about it. Perhaps a sex partner, Sasha thought, and his name was Kaleb. "It's not complicated, I just don't have one." She decided to be subtle. "That's odd," Samson murmured under his breath. "Are all the guys in your life blind or something?" "Samson!" Sasha exclaimed, and he laughed hard. "You're one of the guys in my life, Samson" "Yeah I know" he replied, "And I'm not blind. I've been wanting to ask you out on a date for sometime but I guess I didn't have the guts,"

* "What do you even wear on a date with a girl? Like a lesbian date?" "You are the worst best friend ever." I said monotonously, and tossed a throw pillow at Stacy's blonde head. It was just after one, and she had come over to ask me all about my Saturday night, and help me get ready for my date. Whether she was helping me get ready or just have an excuse to say lesbian in an all-knowing tone still remained a mystery. "Tessa isn't even a lesbian, you idiot."
