It enraged my Lycan the most. I ripped the back open, but nothing living was found inside of it. “What sort of foul magic is this?” I growled. But I had acknowledged one thing, they had come prepared. They had known, capturing her would not be an easy feat. Strigurd growled fiercely, the earth beneath my feet shook. He was not playing hide-and-seek. “I swear I'll burn this whole city to the ground if so much as a hair on her head is touched,” Strigurd growled at the back of my mind.

I felt the first burning press of him starting to push inside…. Then suddenly a sharp knock rattled the locked door. Followed by a deep, smooth voice that carried through the wood, laced with dark amusement. “Father Chris? Ciara? I think we need to talk.” Father Andrew. The knock came again, harder. And Father Chris froze above me, his massive cock still pressed against my aching, soaked entrance, eyes locked on mine with something wild, dangerous, and utterly unholy burning in them.

It was a world of dark romance books, an absolute hide away from reality. Soon the girls found their choices and left while I was left torn between Ana huang twisted series and Tahereh Mafi shatter me series. “Maybe both” I muttered. I looked at the other shelf when I heard a loud fall of books, a man was squatted down trying to pick them and I walked over and helped pick the books up. “Thank you” I stilled at the voice, I could pick out that voice even in a crowd. It was Aurelio, no one sounded so deep, sexy and hoarse like him.

So now here we were, three wolves and the girl we were tearing each other apart for, trapped with textbooks on the coffee table like this was normal. It wasn’t normal. Nothing about it was normal. Audrey sat cross-legged on the couch, notebook balanced on her knee, hoodie sliding off one shoulder just enough that the faint glow of that sigil peeked through. She kept tugging at the fabric like she could hide it, but the thing had a mind of its own. Every time it pulsed faintly, my stomach twisted. Caleb sat across from her in the armchair, looking like he’d rather be anywhere else than watching me breathe the same air she did. Adrian sprawled in the other chair, smirk on his face, twirling a

“Hi. My name is Aurelia. I’m the High Priestess of Winter.” A wave of magic stirred behind her words, soft, cold, and ancient. And then all hell broke loose. “She’s the reason they’re coming!” someone shouted. “They said the demons are after a Key, what if it’s her?” “ Is she even a wolf?” The crowd surged, shouting over each other, fear turning to rage. Wolves began shifting halfway, claws and fur flashing as tension spiraled. My own warriors stepped forward instantly, forming a wall. Brandon growled low beside me. Aurelia raised her hand, power glowing at her fingertips.

I wasn’t even sure if he’d gotten everything settled with his frat brothers when he drove me to the airport in the morning. I tried to let those thoughts fade away while on my flight home. I put in my earbuds and decided to listen to one of the smutty werewolf audio books Hana has gotten me hooked on, Alpha Gray by CJ Primer, with Theo and Maddie as narrators. The book is HOT, and Theo’s voice… yeah, it makes for an enjoyable two-and-a-half-hour flight. I love how he changes his voice when speaking for each Alpha. Hana told me they’ve done the narration for the rest of the series, and I can’t wait to listen.

he whispered, raw and low. “I’ve only ever imagined having children with one woman. And she’s standing in my arms right now.” Her breath left her in a shiver. Before she could respond— A howl ripped through the night. Loud. Violent. Too close. The music shattered. Wolves tensed. Soldiers reached for weapons. Kael’s grip locked around her. “Stay behind me.” *** The windows burst inward. Rogues — three, four, five — snarling, eyes feral, bodies twisted with infection.

Justin spat a curse at Eddy who mumbled something in his ear making him pause. “You can’t kill me you worthless mutt. I have lived long before you were even born. I’ve been fighting battles since I turned, I’m immortal. You just have a longer life.” Damion scorned rolling his shoulders the wounds slowly healing. He was right. Vampires were immortal. Werewolves on the other hand lived longer than most. The oldest most powerful werewolves could live for hundreds of years. The royals of the north were different. It is said that they were praised by Moon Goddess and descendants of the immortal blood. The only thing that rivaled a vampire were faeries. Faeries despised the North. Preferring the w
