Novel & Cerita Best Of Captain America

This happens a little over two months after chapter six ~~~ "Hello beautiful" he said when I stepped out of the house. "Hello captain, you don't look bad yourself" I complimented him. Well he does look good in his dark jeans, this time around paired with a Burgundy T-shirt and dark glasses. I don't think there's any look he won't pull off effortlessly at this point.

"Because exposed assets are liabilities. If your secret comes out badly, the fallout damages the team. Managing the risk is within my responsibilities as captain." I waited. He turned the bowl again. "And because—" He stopped. "Because what?" He looked up at me. His eyes were doing something I couldn't read, something that moved behind the surface of the usual carefully managed absence of expression. "Because the alternative was letting something happen to you that didn't need to happen. And I didn't want that." The room was very quiet. "That's not a captain answer," I said. "No," he agreed. "It's not."

Alessia said, her voice dropping flat and cold. It snapped me out of my spiraling thoughts. I had completely forgotten she was still in my place, and my brain scrambled trying to figure out how to get her out without causing a scene. "Nico," she pressed, a sharp edge entering her words when I stayed silent. "Mmh?" I grumbled, following her gaze toward the TV. I sat up fast the second I registered the screen. It was the captain of 'The Serpent'—a total legend, my absolute idol, and the star of the pro team that invited us overseas to train with them at their camp.

I had totally misjudged the preworkout given to me ; Captain , my bestfriend , had bought me a serving today as we are training together. Captain – a tall guy with a big heart , who is as blunt as….a blunt knife , I guess. Not only is he my bestfriend , but he is my coach. He is someone who not only who helps me follow my workout plan , educate me about bodybuilding and push me to achieve my best , but he also stands by me through my troubles. Talking to him , is the easiest and the advice is definitely not sugar coated.

“I was shooting from the side like they told me. If you didn’t want to look bad maybe don’t lean into every hit like you’re trying to break the boards.” He stepped closer, eyes narrowing. God, he smelled like sweet sweat and something expensive, and it made my stomach flip even while I wanted to smack him. “You think this is a joke? This team’s got eyes on us. Sponsors. Scouts. I need to look like a captain, not some sloppy asshole in bad lighting. Redo the set or pack your shit.” “I’m not redoing anything until you stop acting like a diva,” I shot back, chin up even though my voice wobbled a little. “I know what I’m doing. Maybe try not glaring at the camera next time and you won’t look lik

Saying a silent prayer, I shut my eyes tight, and suddenly, the stadium boomed with cheers. “And there you have it…the Blackhawks beating the Red Deer in their own home! All of Boston is going crazy because tonight, the unbelievable happened!” “I can't believe it, Derrick. The captain has some kind of juju in him. Do you see how fast he threw that puck from that distance?” “It was a straight shot. No wonder he's called the best. Once again, Easton Carter has carried his team to victory!” People ran down from the seats in excitement, crowding the players. Cameras landed on Easton, questions flying from here to there.

His heavy hand rested casually on his hip, right beside his worn leather wristband. "They aren't ready for what you're about to show them, Cassy," Karius added softly, his set lips relaxing into a rare, barely noticeable smile. "None of them are." I looked at the three of them—Elijah, the commanding leader; Chase, the passionate charm; and Karius, the stoic protector. They were three alpha hockey captains who could tear an entire arena apart, yet right now, they were hanging on my every word, waiting to watch me take over. The sheer raw attraction between us was a living, breathing thing in the room, tight and intoxicating.

"He's so nice. Mike is Captain America!" Fuck. "Ouch," Rodney playfully touched his chest. "Velma, I thought I was Captain America. What changed?" "This," She reached for a fork and took a small portion of the pasta from one of the plates. Velma ate it and swallowed before responding. "Mike can cook, too." "Then?" Rodney shuffled closer to her. "Who's the best cook? Who do you think cooks better? Velma tasted her tongue and responded without a single holdback. "Mike ."

"I found Evan Ryder. And together, we took down the syndicate. Together, we exposed the truth. Together, we won." The room erupted. Reporters shouted questions. Cameras flashed. The noise was deafening. But Kade did not care. He had said what he needed to say. Evan stepped up to the microphone, his voice clear and strong. "I want to say something. I have been the captain of this team for four years. And in all that time, I have never been prouder of anyone than I am of Kade Volkov. He is not a threat. He is not a cancer. He is a hero. And I am honored to call him my partner."
