Shortly after, the click of high heels echoed against the marble floor of the corridor. The bedroom door opened again. Patricia walked in with immense grace, as if she were walking down a red carpet. She was still wearing an expensive Burberry trench coat, looking perfectly calm and refreshed, showing no signs of a woman who had just committed adultery.
