The She Wolf and the Rogue Lycan Prince

The She Wolf and the Rogue Lycan Prince

“Now, it’s your turn, my sweet innocent lowly she wolf.” The initial concern wrapping around the she wolf’s heart was now replaced with a frightening anger. “You are going to pay for this!” letting her sharp claws out, the she wolf howled into the moonlight. She began to lunge towards the rogue Lycan prince, only for him to dodge her quite easily this time around. She was graceful and agile, but Conall seemed to have regained a different kind of strength right after taking another soul. After a while of dodging her attacks, the Lycan prince managed to catch the she wolf by her arm, eventually swinging her into the air and finally kicking her through the stomach. The poor she wolf didn’t have

Hockey Alpha's Forbidden Flame - A stepbrother romance

Hockey Alpha's Forbidden Flame - A stepbrother romance

He cannot come on to my private land and start a war, and not expect anything bad to happen. My wolf begins to become more restless inside of me. I can feel the dull aches in my wrists, hands and feet. My face starts to hurt along the jawline and the cheekbones. It’s time to shift. I’m a quick shifter. Thank God. It’s painful, like a burning inferno that isn’t going to be put out with any kind of water. It lasts only, however, until I shift one way or the other way. Roxy on the other hand suffers for longer. The thought of her shifting last time when we mated under the full moon flashes through my mind.

“Are you really a shifter?” “Huh?” I shake my head and laugh. “Shifter. Or werewolf. In paranormal romance books, any sort of were or shifter is always described as being warmer than normal humans.” Wes raises an eyebrow, looking amused. “I didn’t know that.” “I’m a little weird. Maybe I should have warned you.” Slowly, he angles his body toward me and brings one arm up, resting it on the back of the couch behind me. “I like weird.”

The Wolf's Call (Book 1)

The Wolf's Call (Book 1)

Miss you guys. Then I drop the phone again. My hands are shaking slightly. The silence of the large, unfamiliar room hums around me, a waiting silence. I break it first. “So, Isla… what are wolves actually like? Besides possessive and obsessed with titles.” She chuckles, a comforting, rolling sound in my mind. "Depends on the wolves, really. These ones? Traditional. Bound to cultures, customs, rituals, and strict hierarchy. Honestly, they cling to traditions more than any other supernatural creature I know. It's their method of staying grounded and hidden."

From what I hear, they seem to value it very highly. When he finally stops, I also stop at a particularly thick book called Werewolves, Spires, and Shifters: Complete Edition. On the front is a picture of a menacing werewolf ready to devour a human and a human fighting a truly horrible Shifter with a strange spear. I pull it off the rest, hiding it behind me.

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

Hundreds of shifters collided in battle. We were fighting for our friends and the kingdom. They were fighting for total tyranny. Delta Marcus shifted, his brilliant black wolf dodging and tearing through anything that attempted to block us from our goal. I could see where Lamia got her beautiful coat and large wolf from, even if she was twice his size, he was still a magnificent sight to behold. He fought with grace, each move calculated but executed with ease and efficiency.

It's been a wonderful journey reading through these stories (book 1 to book 3). If you are new here, you can start with this book then book 2 (Rise of a Queen) and book 3 (The Gladiator Wolf King). I am now reading book 4 (HUNJI: A Broken Wolf & The Last Witch of Andora). You won't be disappointed!

THE LAST SHIFT: A Werewolf without a Wolf

THE LAST SHIFT: A Werewolf without a Wolf

“That’s not possible. Your code, your shift was broken.” “No,” I said. “It was incomplete.” And then I moved. I didn’t think, do I even need to? My body knew. The wolf wasn’t a monster at my back anymore; she was a guide. A pulse in my blood. A clarity that sharpened my instincts like blades. I lunged forward with supernatural speed. Zero tried to strike back—but her hand froze mid-air. Like it had hit something it couldn’t understand. Me…The real me. She jerked like her joints didn’t work anymore.

Shifted Fate: From Slave To Wolf Queen

Shifted Fate: From Slave To Wolf Queen

Bellatrix Sinclair In the darkened abyss, this white wolf was radiant – practically glowing like a beacon of hope. She rested her head on her paws; eyes closed like she was sleeping. An invisible force propelled me forward, the further I got – I realized we weren’t entirely alone. This wolf blended with the night, unnoticeable unless you were close. Much bigger in contrast to her, softness in those pitch-black orbs as they focused on her. There was something familiar about this dark wolf, nudging his head gently against hers affectionately.

Alpha Son's Fated But Rejected Mate(A Cursed Luna)

Alpha Son's Fated But Rejected Mate(A Cursed Luna)

It was unfortunate, but the bond had been severe enough. "Alright, I'll bite," he finally said, his tone mocking. "Call off your dogs." Ignoring the insult at referring to a group of wolf shifters as "dogs," I recognized his attempt to provoke me. He knew my wolf was more susceptible to the bond. If I allowed emotions to take over, I'd be at risk of an accidental shift. There was no way I could risk that. My wolf was eager, starting to grow restless, indicating her desire to shift and consequently follow Ray. Crossing my arms over my chest, I reminded myself I had to restrain myself.

The Gray Ranch

The Gray Ranch

I didn't want to freak her out. "That's a good start. I am a wolf shifter which means I shape-shift into a wolf whenever I please. I do have heightened senses and I do heal fast. Wolf shifters like to live in packs with their family and extended family. There are bear shifters and Cougar shifters in the world also. They are more solitary than wolf shifters. Although we do have other shifters in our pack. Tabitha is a bear shifter. Samantha and Mariah are cougar shifters. We live together as a pack because... Tabitha, Samantha, and Mariah are all mated to members of the Gray pack. Every shifter has a mate. A life partner chosen by their inner animal spirit," he says in a calm and soft voice.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have to say 'Moon Called' by Patricia Briggs is an absolute masterpiece. Mercy Thompson, the mechanic who can shift into a coyote, is one of the most compelling protagonists I've ever encountered. The world-building is rich, the romance is slow-burn perfection, and the pack dynamics feel authentic. Briggs doesn’t shy away from gritty realism, which makes the emotional stakes even higher.

Another standout is 'Alpha & Omega' by the same author, which explores the bond between Charles and Anna. Their relationship is beautifully nuanced, blending vulnerability with raw power. For those who love a darker, grittier tone, 'Bitten' by Kelley Armstrong delivers with Elena Michaels, the only female werewolf in her pack. The tension between her human side and wolf nature is gripping, and the romance is intense without being overly sentimental.

If you’re looking for something lighter but equally addictive, 'Wolfsong' by TJ Klune is a heartwarming yet steamy take on fated mates. The protagonist, Ox, is an underdog in the best way, and his journey from outsider to pack leader is deeply satisfying. Lastly, 'The Last Wolf' by Maria Vale offers a fresh perspective by focusing on pack hierarchy and survival instincts, making it a standout in the genre.
