“Fuck. Just what this world needs another male Godwin. But it don’t work like that bitch. If it’s a girl, you’ll be naming her after moi, best friend in the world of course.” Ebony placed an open hand across her chest as if Amber didn’t know who her best friend was. Ebony was the only true friend she had left over the years. The one who’d never abandoned her or stabbed her in the back. Beneath her often tough, bitchy exterior, Ebony LaChance was good people.

…I smile thinking about them. I've known my best friend since 7th grade and we'ev been inseparable...we are complete opposite, she is tall, slim, blond, has a body of a goddess with a smile that brightens up a room when she walks in.she pulls boys like magnet, plus she's a total extrovert.a party animal infact.it doesn't bother me that I don't have the kind of attention she gets.i quite like it in fact because I like to blend in with the crowd,I don't like any sort of attention because I tend to stutter really badly when a stranger tries to start a conversation with me ….

Sasha continued, desperate for something to say in order to fill up the silence, "I don’t think I've ever met anyone like her… she's the only one I can call a friend." "Ouch" Kaleb said, clutching his chest playfully, "You are saying you don't consider me a friend? Such a hurtful thing to say, doll face. You wound me!" Sasha punched him playfully, "Stop calling me, doll face. And you know what I meant. Besides, it's the truth. We have never been friends… Why do you suddenly care about that now?" He turned to face her fully, and Sasha held her breath. "Change is a part of life, is it not?" he asked, then continued without waiting for her to reply, "In fact, some people say it's constant. Brody Everything is going wrong for me today. My best friend Oscar and I had just started working at The Club, the sex club that my sister and her husband owned. Except that I just got a look at the schedule, and we got put on opposite schedules. Now we not only don't work with each other, we also don't get to hang out after work either. Or game together on our favorite server.

she shook her head, " I don't have a friend. " Blue face dropped, " you must have been so lonely ", " Hm", she nodded, " but I have some people who care for me, when I needed them the most, they came through for me", " Who are they?", " Alicia and Abigail, though they might see it as performing duties, it means a lot to me." After some seconds of silence, Blue took her hand into hers, "Well, I'm so glad and honored to have you as my best friend ",

With that, I looped my arm around Gerald's waist and Trevor halted his steps instantly. Surprise flared in Gerald's eyes as I placed my legs between his thighs and leaned against him, silently willing him to go out for a long pass. "Now that it has gotten to this point, I don't have to hide the fact that I'm also sleeping with my best friend. Now, let's get the rejection over and done with!" Claudia let out a peal of unhinged laughter. "You're sleeping with your janitor best friend? How low can you stoop, Beth?"

That was just one of many things I hadn’t told her. “You’re nothing like that, okay? For Christ’s sake, look at you. You’re beautiful. You’re a writer—a popular one, working on her second book. And you’re my BEST FRIEND! If that doesn’t scream identity, I don’t know what does,” she said fiercely. I gave her a small smile. I was her best friend—that was enough. “You never asked who told her that,” I said after a moment. She stilled, her body tensing. “No.”

“Not him?” She lets out a soft giggle. “Trust me. Not him. He’s one of my best friends, but no. There’s nothing between us.” It’s as if a light bulb goes off over her head. “Oh, no. Best friends. Kimbra is also my best friend. Have you? Her? Duncan? What are we going to do?”

Sharon shook her head as I down it and poured another. “Are you sharing or is that all for you?” “Oh,” I turned to retrieve a glass for her. “I’m sorry. This shit has got me all flustered.” I poured her a glass and slid it over to her. “I see, but don’t feel bad, I’m in the same boat,” Sharon admitted. “What? With Matt?” “Yes and this is serious,” She gulped down the glass of wine so quickly I watched her immediately pour another. “He’s my son’s best friend!”
