She is his beta

She is his beta

If it wasn’t for his handsome face and amicable expression, he knows that most would be scared of him. Alaska is wearing a black cocktail dress, which is basic in appearance, but she shines like a star in it, she has a glass of champagne in one hand and wearing a large smile. Her greatest skill has always been her ability to be able to make others feel at ease in her presence and to be able to make conversation with absolutely anyone. She would have made a great beta before she stepped aside, but she made a quality beta-female as well.

Boomerang bet

Boomerang bet

On getting back to the counter, Betty cornered her. "Wanna switch tables?" She asked, sounding too eager. Beth rose a brow, "Why?" "That Brandon fucking Wade, bitch!" Betty whisper yelled. "You handle the others, I'll take him." Betty said, rose her hands to pump up her breasts, and walked away. Beth watched her go with a grimace on her face. Evan leaned over the counter. "Betty's at it again?" "Sadly." "Who's the guy this time?" "Brandon Wade."

Innocence Interrupted - A Mafia Story

“Maybe we can ask Uncle Paulie if he’ll give you a hamburger, and Mommy can give you some of the yummy salads.” “Yes please,” Betsy says and yawns loudly. My heart melts. When you strip away the layers of trauma and hurt, there is the real Betsy. Sweet, kind, and polite. It's hard to imagine her any other way now. I wish I could wave a magic wand to make her better. The kid is really crawling into my heart in very unexpected ways. Paulie places two patties on a paper plate and hands it to Betsy. “There yah go, sweetheart.”

I Bet You Can't

I Bet You Can't

However, I’m sure if I look, I will find everyone is staring at us and waiting to see what will happen next. Paul’s stern voice booms across the table. “Chance! Alex won the bet fair and square. You were the one that made it only for girls. So, accept the result. You lost.” My smile widens, as I lean forward and softly add, “Now, pay up.”

Where the Dead go to Die

Where the Dead go to Die

Her unfinished whisper steam-stained the air. Came here for our son. To be with him. To be braver than you ever could be or ever were, Tim. You’re a fucking disgusting piece of shit for making me this way. Say it. SAY IT. “—I figured this was where you’d be, and I thought we should be together,” Betty said, second-guessing herself again. She yanked her arm free and held her head high. It was almost enough to make her laugh. Who needed a silly disguise when one was already so adept at wearing the mask of complacency?

When we met again

When we met again

Bainbridge island 7: 55pm Betty had finished the meeting with some of the women in church concerning this year's end of the year children party. Her love for children, and her need for them to always be happy and satisfied, was what the head of church recognized, making her the head of that committee. For eleven good years now, she has been at helm of things, making sure no party was like the last. With a satisfied smile, Betty picked up her pink Louise vuitton purse that Cynthia, Veronica's friend bought for her last Christmas when they went to visit their daughter. She turned when she heard a voice, calling her name.

The Beta's Mate

The Beta's Mate

He would land on his ass before we could get anything from him. “My goodness Sarah, you have brought quite the entourage,” Beta Steve teases as he walks down the stairs and pulls me in for a hug. Now I know this is for show. He never hugs me. I mind-link Jack this information as Steve releases me. “I cannot say how glad I am to see you folks,” he adds to the group.

Guys! Read this story!!! All of Ellie’s stories are amazing! They pull you in, they’re well written and they have characters that you both love and love to hate. You can’t go wrong with this story, or any of them really!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I’ve read 5 other books by this author and this is my favorite. Her writing pulls you in. The characters will frustrate you, make you laugh and cry. The plot is full of surprises and suspense, redemption and healing. Highly recommend. Read Healing Powers first.

Mr Billionaire! Let’s do Revenge!

Mr Billionaire! Let’s do Revenge!

I most definitely could not walk out so I had no choice but to sit there and watch them drive me nuts talking about the people who ruined my life with so much admiration. “Ohh May, you’re around. Good Morning! Did you see Nora Tanner's new post this morning?! Aren’t they cute?!” Betsy asked as she stretched out in her chair to face me, I turned to look at her raising my head at her like I did not understand what she was talking about,

The Betas Keeper

The Betas Keeper

As soon as we got there we watched from the car as people littered the front lawn and deck. Z squealed in excitement before reaching for something at the back and coming back with a big bottle of Vodka and a six pack of red bull. “Let’s get litty!” she said in excitement before exiting the car. I laughed and followed after her as she ran inside. “Z calm your farm and relax,” I called out in amusement as we approached the house and squeezed pass the flood of sweaty bodies.

She Bet on My Death

She Bet on My Death

Everyone burst into laughter and shook their heads. In their eyes, this was a bet I had no chance of winning. I could barely move, and I was carrying my son on my back. How could I possibly escape the hyenas and the young, strong survival game NPC? But Camilla didn't care at all. She pushed her chips forward. "One million dollars. For Jack's entertainment." "Camilla, you're so generous! You're willing to bet a million dollars for your lover like it's nothing. Wasn't that wedding ring you gave Frank back then only worth 100 dollars? If he knew about this, he'd probably bawl his eyes out! Haha!"
