Betty replied before scooping two more pieces for Xyla. When Betty saw how pleased Xyla seemed at the dish, her fists clenched underneath the table, and Betty's lips widened into a sinister smile. The flavors Betty used in her cooking were practically addictive, a fact proven when Xyla polished off four pieces at once and was still craving for the fifth.
