Atlas glanced back at me and softly said, "Hold on tight, This road is a bit long.
Swarms of insects flew overhead in the dark light, resembling a downpour.
I couldn't help but remember Atlas's words, "Mosquitoes as big as golf balls." Now, it seemed not exaggerated at all.
"Honey, is this the road to the base?" I leaned forward and clutched onto his seat.
"No, it's a remote village. Then we need to enter the forest from here to reach their base," Atlas said, glancing at me and patting my hand. "We'll have to go through the forest later. Sit tight!"
