Bintang couldn’t be exposed to harsh sunlight, so Langit usually took her out in the late afternoon toward evening, allowing them to walk freely and enjoy the scenery without an umbrella obstructing the view. “We can come to the beach more often if you like,” Langit said while watching Bintang’s face. Bintang turned and smiled widely as she brushed aside the strands of hair blown across her face by the wind. She released their intertwined fingers, then wrapped her arm around Langit’s arm and rested her head against him as they continued walking.
