The bistro is one block from the hospital. The owner is a former five-star hotel chef who is tired of working under the pressure of a grumpy hotel manager. With a little severance pay, he was determined to open this bistro. His motivation was to ridicule the former manager who had mocked him when he decided to resign.

Sunday. Bistro Cool, Los Angeles, CA. MAX PEERED AROUND AT the restaurant Lumen had suggested. He was glad to see it wasn't like the excessively trendy places he'd stumbled on so far during his stay in LA. He was used to rich people and flashy, but Europeans were different from Americans. It was hard coming back to this faster paced lifestyle. The tension slowly coiling tighter inside of him didn't help either.

Liora’s POV “This place look good to you?” Callum pulled up to the front of the nice restaurant in the fancier part of town. It was a bistro situated smack dab in the middle of the market center, tucked between two other brick buildings. I looked up at the clean white facade, then through the windows. Dim lighting, small tables with pristine tablecloths, candles flickering in tiny jars. Intimate. My heart skipped a beat despite my best efforts to avoid it.

Somehow, I thought I must've seen her somewhere but I couldn't place where. " Who's that dish?" I asked Bistro. Bistro needn't be told I've taken a keen interest in this girl. " Her name's Ginny. She's one of the regulars around here. She recently bought a VIP membership green card," he then wrinkled his nose in disgust. " She works as a stripper at the Vegas Moon club. You don't wanna get involved with a hoe like her. She's bad news. She's also a messed up junkie when she's not sober."

“I'm about a mile from the Essex market. In a bistro that sells processed meat. Wait a moment." Lexie looked around for the name of the bistro she was currently in. She found a sticker stuck to the table's surface that had chipped the edges. Like someone who is bored deliberately scraping the table top to get pleasure from seeing sawdust scattered around the table. “Beauty & Essex. That's the name of the bistro." Lexie frowned because the owner of this bistro named his bistro with a unique name. "Okay. I'll get there asap. I'm taking a day off today just in case you manage to escape from Rafe's house and I have to pick you up as soon as possible."

We sat down on one of the outdoor benches and took in the restaurant. “Well, isn’t this lovely?” Marion says looking around. “It is.” I say. A live band is playing soft music at the left corner of the outdoor space. We listen in silence for a while until a waitress approaches us. “Good afternoon and welcome to Bahamian Bistro.” The waitress says as she hands us menus. “Good morning.” Marion and I say in return. “I’ll be right back to take your order.” She says before giving us a smile and walking over to the next table to attend to other customers.

Customers are able to watch the chef work his magic in the kitchen. “Welcome to Todd Jurich’s Bistro. The best diner in Norfolk, Virginia. How may I be of your assistance this night time?” The owner greets them in a friendly tone and a smile. “We want a table for two” Kalisha said, holding onto N’s arms and smiling at him. He smiles back. “Right this way” The owner tells them, leading them to their table. He pulls the chair to let Kalisha sit down first and he does the same for N.

Lana just messaged me that she's already inside. I put my phone back into my pocket and stepped in. The classic bistro interior immediately greeted my eyes. On one side, there was a long bar table and tall chairs in front of it, while the elegant white table set filled the other side of the room. I waved at Lana, who was already sitting at one of the tables. As it was still lunchtime, the bistro looked slightly crowded. Lana looked beautiful in a casual light blue dress that matched her gray eyes. In front of her was a glass of white wine she had already drunk.

“Very well, ma'am. Where should I meet you?” Reyona looked around at the softening evening light as she tried to remember if there were any good restaurants around. The station where Rouarke worked was not far from her present location anyway, so she might as well kill two birds with one stone. She remembered a place with Italian dishes just some distance from where she was. “Can you meet me at Ariel’s Bistro?” “I will be there in minutes,” Rouarke said eagerly. Reyon disconnected the call and drove the few distances to the small, intimate bistro with its bubbly owner.

After a while of driving and going through some minor traffic, they finally made it to the restaurant. C'est La Vie Bistro, the most well-known restaurant in London.
