“Run… while you still can.” “I won’t leave you!” she sobbed, clutching him desperately. “I won’t!” Leonard watched, his eyes gleaming with perverse delight. “How touching. But you’ll die together either way, because I have no intention of letting you survive the night.” William coughed blood, his eyes dimming but fierce. When William burst into the room, seeing the scene in front of him, William really wanted to hit the man with a slap right away. His extremely excited mood when he saw that bastard made his eyes cold to the bone. Immediately afterwards, he unhesitatingly drew a stick towards that man. Mom and Samuel also tried to plead with me to change my mind, but even they both knew how rebellious and stubborn I was; and with my mind made set, there was no changing it. I wasn’t expecting him to say all of that so I just nodded since no words were definitely going to come out of my mouth. “Bailey, this is Henry Hilton. William’s personal assistant.” I finally take note of the person behind William. I wasn’t really expecting a man to be his personal assistant, it is so strange but for some reason, i had imagined his assistant to be a female but i was shocked to see it was a man with very lean muscle build, he was tall but not as tall as William and he had glasses with black square frame which gave him a nerdy look. A savage growl echoed, followed by a horrible sound of flesh being torn. Adrian, still in crow form, tilted his head on the branch, watching everything coldly. “Pathetic,” he cawed, bored. The butler tried to crawl away, his hands shaking and his face dirty with earth and blood. His eyes met those of the panther, which now walked slowly toward him, its muzzle dripping with the blood of the wolf it had just killed. “Please…” Blackwell begged. “I just wanted to live… I just wanted to be like you…”

I looked down the hallway and through the other side, and there was actually no one in sight. My heart hammered as I approached the large double office doors with D. BLACKWOOD engraved on the metal plate. I forced my trembling hand to knock. No answer. Great. I knocked again. Still nothing. Screw it. I pushed the door open— —and froze in place. Damian Blackwood sat behind his massive black desk. Sharp suit. Cuffed sleeves. Jaw tight enough to crack a diamond. He didn’t look up at me. Not even a glance. I opened my mouth to speak but was cut off by his deep voice.
