Its misshapen head was reminiscent of a wolf or a canine of some sort with large, almost exaggerated fangs and even the way it seemed to sniff the air only deepened its resemblance. But its body … It was the spindly body of a beast that’s similar to Calleb’s wolf. Only bigger. And its fur was black and white. “Calleb!” Accashia called, and her body was trembling. It was unlike the beast that Calleb would transform into during the full moon. It was monstrous. The beast howled as it took another step. Rendering everyone in the battlefield motionless. The monster was 12 feet tall. Black and white fur was covering its body. Its fangs were dripping blood.

I looked up and my stomach dropped. Aziel Nightbane. The monster himself. His golden eyes burned down at me with pure hate. Up close he smelled like blood and smoke and something darker that made my wolf stir. “Who are you running from boy?” he growled. His voice was low and rough like gravel under boots. His grip tightened on my arm hard enough to bruise. I gasped for air and forced words out even though my throat felt tight. “Please. I am nothing. Just a slave omega. Let me go and I will disappear. You will never see me again I swear it.”
