“What do you people think you are doing?” Abe acted bravely and asked. “This is the territory of the Western Empire! You aren’t welcome here” the young prince tried to talk him and his friends out of their predicament. “Oh? So where are we welcome?” one of the black cloaked men asked. Unlike the others there was no sword symbol on his cloak. Instead there was a red colored scar in the shape of a sword that run across his face and over his left eye. It signified that he had the greatest authority amongst the Dark Kingdom wielders here. It was proof that he was at the peak of the mortal realm.

The inside was just as dreary as the outside and void of any color other than shades of gray and black. "It is no wonder you all are so blah," I said softly and heard a chair move out before a long table with high chairs lined up on the other side. "Sit and state your name and business here," a more solid voice growled. I peered into the shadows and jumped back when the low light caught shimmering light eyes that fell open in my direction. The figure lowered its black cloak and the outline of a pointed-eared male with white flowing hair came into view. I could hear the sound of his long claw tapping on the table. He was grayish colored and a smoke-like substan

"Lord Cayden has selected these for you, my lord. He wished for you to choose one for alteration." Even in my groggy state, the beauty of the cloaks was apparent. Though undeniably masculine in their cut and length, each was adorned with intricate and unique designs. My eyes carefully scanned the array of colors and patterns before settling on a cloak of deep black. I pointed to it, and with practiced efficiency, the maids dismissed the others, gently lifting the chosen garment and laying it reverently on the bed beside me.

"Remove your heavy cloak right now, my faithful servant, so that these skeptical leaders can finally see the beautiful face of the warrior who will deliver the Blood Thorne pack straight into our hands." The cloaked figure reached up with a slow, mechanical precision and pulled the deep blue hood backward away from her face, allowing her long dark hair to cascade over her shoulders in the bright torchlight. The assembled alphas gasped out in pure, mind-blowing terror as they scrambled backward in their chairs, their faces turning an incredibly pale shade of grey as they recognized the unmistakable features of the woman standing before them.

The shadow cloak is woven from a rare fabric and the darkest form of magic. It grants the wearer invisibility and the ability to blend seamlessly into shadows. With this, one can sneak in and out of even the most dangerous territories without being seen or noticed.

Two footsteps sounded clearly in the shadows of the entrance to the atrium, and the demons present stopped moving in unison and looked in the direction of the footsteps. Evelyn looked over quietly as well. A tall and slender figure stepped out from the shadows, wearing a black cloak with a hood that covered most of his face, revealing only a firm chin and thin lips. Underneath the cloak were bloodstained clothes, and the open collar revealed a tattooed neck. He hung his hand, holding a long sword in his hand, the tip of the sword sticking to the ground, making a "rustling" sound. Behind him was Shaykh, who looked clean-cut and thin.

I was just about to comment on the progress of the new seedlings when a flicker of movement caught my eye. “Malcolm, stop,” I said, my voice low and urgent. He hit the brakes, his instincts immediately on high alert. “What wrong?” I pointed toward the far end of the compound, where the medicinal herbs were grown. A figure, shrouded in a black cloak, was moving with unnatural speed, darting out from behind a row of greenhouses and vanishing into the thick treeline that bordered Black Widow territory. It was the same cloak from the footage. The same one Kael had worn.

She seemed quite eager about their arrival, but I couldn't care less. In the blink of an eye, they appeared before us, dressed in their signature purple cloaks. My gaze was immediately drawn to a figure in the middle, cloaked in black. Alicia? No, this figure was unmistakably masculine.
