I froze momentarily. "Galen?" I muttered. The male looked identical. "I am Delrox," he said sternly and lifted Callie to sink his teeth into her furry neck. She yelped as her red blood clashed against the white of her fur. I jumped up wrapping my arm around his head to pry him off of her. Delrox shoved Callie to the dirt after taking a chunk out of her flesh. He yanked me from around himself and pushed me to the ground. I landed on my feet before him and growled threateningly.

Why do I have white fur? It should be black. All Blood moon Wolves have black fur. Santeetlah Wolves have brown fur. The Black Mountain Pack is home to the Carnage Wolves. And Carnage Wolves have white fur. White fur, like snow. White fur, like… Like my paws. Oh, moon… I’m in trouble.

London: Fuyu stood a heavy-breathing mess, with blood gushing down his forehead. His muscles tightened as he stood, looking down with bared teeth at the dismembered bodies scattered around. He growled slowly, his extended claws dripping blood onto the ground. His eyes were a blood-thirsty red, glistening with a dark glow as he ran his tongue over his lips, his eyes dilating at the metallic taste of blood.

Fur sprouted from my skin, enveloping me in a cloak of ethereal white. Once fully transformed, I stood tall and proud as a majestic creature of the night. My fur, glistening in the moonlight, bore the color of freshly fallen snow. It was as if a piece of winter's enchantment had woven itself into my very being. Each strand of fur shimmered with an otherworldly glow, casting a pale radiance in the darkness.

Lyra gasped. The creature barely looked like a normal wolf anymore. Its fur was dark gray and patchy in places, muscles unnaturally large beneath scarred skin. Its eyes glowed a sick reddish color while saliva dripped from enormous fangs. Bloodfang. The rogue snarled violently at Kael before its eyes shifted toward Lyra. And smiled. Not humanly. Worse. Like the beast recognized her. Kael moved first. His blade flashed silver through the darkness so fast Lyra barely saw it.

The shadow moon pack is home of the Brute wolves. And Brute wolves have Black furs. Black fur, like the demon. Black fur, like… Like my paws. Oh, moon goddess, I'm in deep trouble.

With lightning speed, a lone wolf lunged towards me, but I swiftly tore them apart, their fur slipping through my fingers as a surge of adrenaline coursed through my veins. As I turn my head, my eyes widen in disbelief. The sight before me is a chaotic symphony of violence. The metallic scent of blood permeates the air, mingling with the earthy aroma of damp soil. The ground beneath me is stained crimson, mirroring the vibrant hues of the pink sky above. With a swift motion, I lunge at another wolf, my sharp claws tearing through their fur like a hot knife through butter. The sounds of growls and snarls echo around me, blending into a cacophony of primal fury.

Blood wells up and pours down Dad’s side. The wolf attempts to grab onto Dad by using its other paw, but Dad shakes it off. They turn to face each other once more. This time, the other wolf attacks. Dad steps to the side and swipes it with his claws. The wolf stumbles before regaining its footing. Dad’s fur is now matted with blood and turning an ugly reddish brown. As the two wolves exchange blows once more, I notice blood is slowly dripping from my dad. Drip. Drip. Drip.

It sprays across my cheeks, my closed eyelids, and the exposed skin of my neck. The unmistakable copper stench of fresh blood immediately fills my nostrils and my scream dies in a choked gasp. I open my eyes, blindly wiping a trembling hand across my face to clear my vision. My palm comes away dripping in dark, hot crimson. The massive wolf isn’t tearing into my chest. It crashes heavily onto the earth beside me, its towering wall of silver-grey fur convulsing in violent, erratic spasms. A deep, jagged gash splits its throat entirely open, hot blood bubbling out in frantic torrents that melt the white frost beneath it.
