he said, adding more to her headache. "What do you mean by 'what type'?" she asked, her voice rigid and stable this time. "There are five types of demons, Esteria," he said, calling her name for the first time. "Fi...ve," she stammered. "Yes, there are fire demons, water demons, earth demons, air demons, and thunder demons. Each demon clan has its own god, and yes, I am the Demon God of Thunder," he said with a hint of a smile on his lips.

Kill her, rip her apart. So much pain. So much rage. He clutched his fists, releasing a roar of anguish. His brutal claws ripped into the walls and floor, the stone turning to dust. Levina's cruel laugh echoed in his ears. He was lost. With one last bellow he let the demon within rage free.

CASSIAN The air crackled. The shadows in the center of the circle twisted and folded in on themselves like paper being crumpled by invisible hands. Then he was there—the divining demon. Tall and gaunt, wearing robes cut from the night sky itself, stars glittering in their depths. His black pearl eyes found mine immediately. That terrible smile spread across his face. "Well, well." His voice was like wind through dead leaves. "What a wonderful little twist this is."

I could not tell, but then the man appeared before me, and he looked as he had the last time I had seen him. "Are you sure you want to forge ahead, Dreamwalker?" he asked, and I could not speak to respond. I tried to speak, but the words wouldn’t come out. I wouldn't give up, though. So I kept at it until the words came out. "Are you the Dark?" I asked him, and he smiled. "I am the Timekeeper, " he said, telling me he isn't the dark. "Although you have embraced the Dark of Acquillonia yourself, I will implore you to beware because it has the Power to corrupt," he said, and I understood what he meant by it.

"You won't get a single blood from me," Arth said as he unsheathed Frostcalibur, facing six, armed demons. They had muscled bodies with rough burnt skin, wide wings, and long tails. Their armors screamed in black metal, their capes burning red. One of them was dressed in a dark purple cloak, with a long staff in his hand. The others were armed with dual machetes.

he said, fangs visible from his mouth. "Who....who..." "I'm your guardian angel" he smirked again. Arianna eyes opened in realization. Guardian angel? more like guardian Demon! "I won't hurt you. You summoned me" he said, Arianna gasped, No....she had summoned an angelic creature not this......dark being. Her eyes swept across his features, his skin was an ashen gray and he was shirtless, a mark of a claw on his right chest, long flowing hair that had been tied loosely behind him. He was smirking evilly at her, she felt her legs weaken. She was about to say something when Meena walked in.

“Shadowland has creatures in it. Both human like and black, gooey zombies.” Rain, my Knight and a powerful demon in her own right, gave me an unimpressed look as she adjusted a pin in my hair. She was a bit of a perfectionist and couldn’t stand when things were out of place. If she were human, I’d say she had severe OCD. I guess I could still say it even though she was a demon.

Demons are parts of darkness, and sooner or later, it will claim me, unless I manage to remain human. They stopped at the scene that I had carefully prepared for them. A dead horse and a man in a black cloak lying on his back. Of course, there was nothing under the cloak, but who would check? So, who'll go first? Ah, too bad I don't have a crossbow. Whatever. I'll manage. Especially since they stopped right where I wanted them to. I sized up the situation for the last time. All right, here we go! A daring leap into the center of the squad, and I landed right behind one of the pursuers. These shaven-headed beasts should not exist in my world. Demon's blood sang a battle cry in my veins.

Then she saw the true form. Her heart felt like it was going to explode. She had never seen something so hideous. It was a demon. “I’m Deon,” The voice echoed in the still sky, causing a great earthquake. Clary’s mind quickly pushed her back into reality and she let out a scream as she fell on the floor in her room. She was breathing very hard and her heart was pounding in her chest. Her mouth was dry and sweat dripped off her forehead. She took a few seconds to gather herself, she could not shake the image of the demon out of her head. It was a demon, she was sure. What else could it be?

The rest of the pack members raise their glasses and cheer. But suddenly, the atmosphere changes as a sudden darkness envelopes us. The fire flickers and dims as the darkness grows thicker, almost suffocating. A chill runs down my spine as I hear a low growl, and I can sense the unease in the other pack members. Something isn't right. "What's happening?" Ivy whispers, her grip on my hand tightening. Before I can answer, a figure emerges from the shadows. It's a demon, but not like any I've seen before. Its eyes burn with an eerie blue flame, and its body is as black as the darkness around us. It's a shadow demon, one of the most powerful and dangerous kinds.
