Black Clover Demon Novels & Stories

“There’s something amiss here.” Clara crossed the road at the traffic crossing and went into the café. It was very quiet inside due to the off-peak time with no visible customers and the seating area was separated into booths. That suited her purpose. She sat at the back of the café and turned to Caiden. “What’s wrong?” she asked quietly. “There is a demon attached to one of them. He appeared when you walked past them,” Caiden told her in a tense tone. Clara gasped in surprise. She had never expected one of the bullies to also have a demon at their side. Why was one of them contracted to a demon?

It had baffled when he was just a mere mortal, but it floored him now as a demon. Her stubborn will to be both defiantly strong and soft in his hands had caused the sadistic side of Young to rear its head in Blood, pushing for an opportunity to turn her to clay. It never made any sense how she embodied love and light at all times, even when the harsh parts of herself were shown. The demon side of Young couldn’t help but want, damn near need, to crush that light out of her. In the same token, her display of blind trust in him was a gift he never wanted to take for granted so he was torn, now more than ever.

KAYLEEN These things can’t be real. The doctor is gone but I’m not taking them. I’m not going with medications and I’m never gonna believe her. “Why won’t you believe her?” she’s speaking to me again with her creepy face. Her hands touched my cheeks and she leaned closer. “You are a demon. You are a murderer.” Her whispers made me feel like my blood is on its boiling point. “See? You are angry!” she added and dodged my hand attempting to grip on her arm.

She ran away and left her alone in the hands of this demon. She looked at Eric who had a devilish smile on his face, then stared down at her stomach. ‘Maybe you were meant to be a mafia after all.’

A steady, heart stopping beat of slow heavy footsteps sounded loud in the still quiet of the room as the warlocks stopped chanting and became like tranced zombies, staring unseeing at the circle. Ruben and Kat watched as a large arm came up out of the hole holding a massive axe. Followed by the face of a great horned demon, his skin a strange bluish grey colour. As it climbed the stairs with deliberate slowness, avoiding the blue flames, it came to stand before them as the floor was suddenly back up and the demon stepped back away from the flames to the centre of the circle. Kat looked at it with distaste. “That’s not Lord Basille.”

I don’t know what I’m expecting, but what I see on the header is beyond my basic reason. “Soul contract,” I read aloud questioningly. “What does that mean?” He doesn’t respond so I keep reading. The official contract between the human soul giver and the demon, Logan. This agreement shall be signed or stamped on the basis that the soul giver understands and confirms the following terms: Party A: I declare myself of sound physical and mental health, and in the perfect state of mind to comprehend the understated requirements and conditions. I am not under any form of duress or coercion to pay heed to this agreement.

I leaned closer, waiting for another kiss, but his next words scattered everything. “I don’t want to let you go, beautiful, but I have to. Dravon is already waiting for you.” I blinked twice, my head slowly wrapping around what he was saying. “What do mean, Dravon…” I trailed off, “Who are you then?” My heart pounded with every word. He smirked again, that beautiful curving of his lips. “I am his demon, Hell.” My jaw dropped. I tried to pull away from him, shame rushing through me.

While I might not have a love for all demons, I only disliked the sadistic ones like I had dealt with while imprisoned with the Darkies. I had met Klayrn on the day that he saved my life. I had been ambushed by a group of Plinksin demons. Those ones were part of the sadistic category. Their species had a special ability called Shadow Freeze. Fairly self-explanatory. The shadows froze a person’s movements. They had caught me unaware when I was helping someone. Klayrn swooped in and saved the day by utilizing his flame ability. The Plinksins were shit out of luck when his flames destroyed them without much effort. We became friends over the years. I was happy to know that he was okay. -

But everything crumpled down when she found out the truth. This is Dark Hades call. He only comes out when there’s death. He only comes out when there’s evil and blood. Because death and darkness are always the demon’s call.

I said deliberately, "It isn't your fault. Allison's death isn't your fault, your father's death isn't your fault. Stop blaming yourself for everything that goes wrong, sometimes we just have to accept things no matter how ugly they are." The agony I saw in his eyes made my heart break but I didn't stop speaking, "That's just how life is; one minute you have everything you could possibly want and the next you're being dragged down into this never ending pit of darkness. But you see, the dark isn't all that bad, once you accept it, once you stop panicking, you realize that the darkness is actually a part of you and you can't really fear something that is a part of you. You know, I've always s
